for me, the kunio kun series began with a localised version of soccer hen (here in the netherlands released as nintendo world cup) downtown nekketsu managatari (here released as street gangs) then on a cardridge for the game boy from a friend bangai rento hen (didnt know when i get that version it was double dragon II) world cup game boy, then never played a beat em up yes, super dodge ball and super dodge ball advance. now 3 days ago i get a present from my lovely girlfriend for nintendo switch river city 1 and 2 on 1 cardridge. i must have the first adventure but that was only in japan for the super nintendo. and now its released as river city girls zero. great!

just 3 days ago i get the bundle rcg 1 and 2 for nintendo switch from my girlfriend and man its epic. she has all game boy games even soccer hen (nintendo world cup) river city ransom (street gangs) all the double dragon nes and game boy games. super dodge ball, super dodge ball advance, the ex version of street gangs but then river city ransom. nes version of world cup as well. and we play sometimes them.

Love the soundtrack. Megan kills it yet again. I can't say enough how much I love the "2!" in the intro theme, and how it evolves by verse. First verse just Kyoko says it and gets reprimanded. Then Kyoko says it again after verse 2 and doesn't get reprimanded... then by the third time around, Misako's been convinced to join in. Brilliant.

I absolutely ADORE this soundtrack. It really helps the game establish its identity with such great tunes. I simply cannot get enough of "River City Girls Too", "Your Like", "I Think I'm Better Than You", and "Get Off My Lawn." I loved the first game, and the soundtrack played a big part in that. I was looking forward to RCG2's soundtrack as much as I was the gameplay and I am incredibly impressed with both. As a composer, you kick as much ass as the characters in the game do, outstanding job!

YES I'm so glad they brought you back! Your music really amped up the first game- particularly "Watch your Back", which is my favorite song- and this one is even BETTER. Having all the bosses have a vocal theme done by you for their areas was genius- though "Get Off My Lawn" might be the best song simply for sheer hilarity of concept (seriously, uber-goth witch has a song... about GETTING OFF HER LAWN?!? Hilarious!)

1st game I completed of 2023 & Platinum'ed 24 hours in total. The ost in 1st game was already amazing and playing both back2back is unreal. I appreciate the work you and wayfoward did to deliver such a great sequel and a ost that rivals the 1st. Hope to see you guys in another 3 years for a third one! I got into this series when River City Girls was put up as a Nintendo Switch Game Trial a while back not really knowing anything about, so naturally I had little to no expectations. Fast forward to today and I played all 3 RCG games and I absolutely LOVE THEM! And the music is honestly some of my favorite I've ever heard in a videogame! Amazing series and amazing music!

Speaking as someone who has poured a lot of hours into the first River City Girls, you really outdid yourself with this soundtrack Double M. As did everyone else who worked on it. Especially with the vocal songs with my favorites being Feel the Heat and Your Like. I actually just got myself River City Girls 2 at the beginning of this month for my Birthday and have beaten it twice so far. 1st time as Kyoko, because she was my main in the first one and the second time as Marian, who was a blast to play as. As for River City Girls 2 itself. While I feel like the pacing could have better in a few places. It still has the pretty satisfying beat-em-up combat, charm, and humor of the first game. Plus most of the boss battles were pretty cool and Sabu made for a great and menacing villian. I look forward to playing through the game as the other characters. If they ever make a River City Girls 3. I look forward to seeing what jams you would bless us with.

"Marian" brought back memories of being in my home arcade around the "Double Dragon" machine, Giving it a 2022 refit with better synth and maybe a dash of thrash metal I heard? I am sure if the composer who did the original Double Dragon theme heard this, he'd love it (as well as the guy who did the music for PC Engine version of "Double Dragon II"; it would play as Billy and JImmy made their dynamic entry through brick walls).

I finally finished the game and I truly cannot put into words how much I love this game and how much I ESPECIALLY love this soundtrack, it’s absolutely amazing and I found myself sometimes deciding to walk from one area to the next instead of using fast travel or fighting enemies I didn’t need to just so I could hear the music. I haven't played the game yet. But was listening to this while doing some work. Gotta say, I really like what I hear. As much as I loved the soundtrack of the first game, I like some of the versatility and different theming the music has this time around. The first game was alot of sick bit crushed beats that stick in my head all the time. But this one has lots of that, and also some different flavor. Specifically the music in the Blaire, Tsuiko and Primo chapters(?) Also the river city girls anthem rocks. It really reminds me of something you'd hear in a Sega Genesis era Knuckles rap song. Gives me the same kick ass vibe unknown from m.e. did.
