Next time just use Modge Podge to hold down the fabric. You’ll really only need it for the edges, it won’t matter if the fabric is slightly loose on the flat surface inside bc the fabric is cut exactly to size; it will actually look more like it was designed to be that way.

Modge podge works really good on fabric too so you could have used it for the inside of the tin! I love using it to hold together smaller fabric pieces

I love modge podge!! I use it a ton to seal patterns and paints,but I recently used it to make a fake strap for some goggles, and it worked great!

I think my modge podge is expired because it doesn't really dry, like ,at all as a varnish.

So cute I love it. I had an idea for the left-over love shack fancy stanley wrapping paper. You maybe can use one of the hearts rap the wrapping paper on it and add a stud to make an earings, or you coul do the same thing but make a necklace

I used a spray adhesive at the print shop I worked at for 10 years. To mount prints onto foam board. Aerosol spray. Sprayed a thin light even layer. Had to use something that wasn't liquidy as that would soak thru the paper. Also wuld be good for fabric too.

I had to do something similar to travel with my skincare because my routine is… involved, and all that crap is HEAVY. I put my serums in those plastic squeezy lip gloss tubes, which works really well. I also put my laneige lip mask in one for easy application on the go (it’s kind of hard to get it in there but so much better to throw in your purse or whatever)

it's very adorable and sweet, however skincare shouldn't be taken out of their original packaging/containers. yea, even if it's a normal thing like serum. companies choose containers methodically, with particular reasons. not all bottles are made with the same materials or ingredients. companies need to choose materials that won't react with the skincare elements inside. you might say that i'm freaking out over this, but i just wanted to let you know in case you or anyone else might need this information. since we don't know the exact details, research, reasons, chemistry and business decisions that were made behind manufacturing and designing the product, it would be in your best interest to keep the product in the original container. this information would be much appreciated by people who are running om tight budgets because skincare products can prove to be very expensive for them and they would get sad if theh find out their product isn't working, especially for the sum of money they paid for it. especially if the new containers are cheap factory made ones. those aren't stable and aren't as safe as legit manufacturers your craft is super cute tho! i didn't mean any offense and i too wish i could play around with skincare as much as you are doing, but i thought i should let people know, or remind them.

So what I recommend for gluing any type of fabric down is hot glue a whole freaking lot of hot glue, it works a lot better than you would think it would work with resin and is probably safe for your skin

what i would have done is glue a piece of foam and wrap the fabric around it. That way, the glue wouldn't have transferred through the fabric.

Unless it's sunscreen or vitamin c, and being used immediately it should be fine. And fwiw expiration dates are not regulated , and most people genuinely don't care and literally didn't care until 2099 when you tube came around 😂
