@@Xenomorthian Could've been born that way, every chance that he's actually albino and simply isn't suffering the effects due to being half youkai. Or his hair colour might be from a Youkai mother, Eirin for example has white hair. Also, that has me wondering if Mokou might eventually go bald. Funny image. Also also, Kaguya is older than Mokou by a good bit and her hair doesn't seem to have greyed at all. Might just be a species thing for her though. Not sure if Lunarians are human evolved or whatever.

I think that's more to do with Gensokyo having been cut off from outside world technology and not developing since the formation of the barrier that being said I wouldn't be surprised if the Human Village guards have Tanegashima since those were invented long before but don't see much reason to use it thanks to the Spellcard rules and their slow rate of fire and inaccuracy (try hitting a tiny flying cannibal girl with a matchlock (^ ^;
