Thank you Ash for the review. Hopefully you enjoy them in your future games and just a few notes for anyone interested in this deck. I did go back and change the name of the Wizard boss to "Dark Wizard" just to be safe. Also, the artist I use for this project promises they are not using AI. Honestly, I strive to commission all the art for these projects from artists that promise to not use AI art. I also have the original Photoshop files with all the layers so if it is AI he is hiding it really well.

One more note after rewatching the video. The stat increases from leveling is based on a single hero with the highest stats. If you add the whole party together and then go off that number it might get a little crazy. Lol I mean feel free to play that way if you want. Might try that tonight just to see what happens.

I've always been a fan of AI enemy attacks for solo play. Some boardgames did a good job of this like monster hunter and darksouls boss battles. Forbidden lands did a good job for being strictly an rpg game as well when you look at their enemy AI combat. I do agree some adjustments can be made with these cards they add flavor and more options to combat to prevent them from becoming stale.

Could definitely use this not just for HeroQuest. You could quite possibly use it for other board games and things like d&d

I like the polish in the Heroquest app I just wish you could design and upload your own quests to it. It would be cool if you could design quests adding your own voice lines to the intro and stuff like that. :)

I have designed these cards so everything can be adjusted. Pretty much if you don't like the stats of a monster you can change it or if you want to add different discipline points you can do that as well. In my personal games I give some monsters spells from the Hero Pack set as well. May make a PDF in the future on our way of doing that. Pretty much we just add the spell to two of the numbers on the extra action table marked with "Do nothing". If they have points in a discipline then roll those for a chance of modifying the spell. Works pretty well you can also do the same thing with spells from the original Heroquest game as well if you want. We make each spell cost 1 mana. We have been trying a bunch of weird stuff with these. Lol

A fun thing I found on my last trip to Dollar Tree were some Halloween themed nail decals. With their small size I'm going to try testing a bit on a sprue or bottom of a base and get a feel if they would look good on shields or something. Worst case scenario I can use them on a gaslands car.

I have lots of opinions. I often spend days formulating complex multi-paragraph reactions to add to the comment section. In the end I’m one or two videos behind and no one cares anymore and I’m bored.
