I got the 2006 1.0 VVTi M5 in this exact color, only 160.000Km till now, 11.9.2020. Driven on highways it is slow uphill, can get you down to 80kmh with just 2 passengers. But on long straight road and in the city its the best friend. The 1.33 was much better on highway. Nothing ever broke. Swapped the bulbs, battery and oil with filters only.

Thank you very much. Going to buy this (US version) this week with manual transmission. This car makes its own gas. Its for me & my big dog & I will be rescuing animals in it, groceries, errands. Why would I pass up this gas mileage & reliability? It literally PAYS FOR ITSELF in gas. Does it all in extremes of weather. It’s all I’ll need. Thank you very much; great video.

Came across this Yaris Review while searching for a later model review. I have this same car, except mine is a Zinc Edition, and I can honestly say that I have never seen a better Car Review before on a stationary car. All possible information and functionality described in Clear and Concise English, which is obviously Not the Reviewer' 1st Language ! - but all the better for it, as he didn't drag out the Review and start finding faults, unlike most English/American Reviewers! I was very impressed with his good delivery of his quite unbiased Review. I know this little car like my house, having had it since June 2007, and apart from a new Clutch plate (and there was a Particular Reason for That !) this month, Nov 2017. A New set of Brake pads across the front discs 2 months ago in Sept 2017 (just after it's Compulsory Govt. Inspection in May 2017, when they 'Passed' !) The little Yaris only ever had to have it's Service Book Stamped every year @10k miles (10k/ Km for Russian Roads ! I been there 4 times and driven in City & Rural roads, but they won't kill this little car - as long as it is looked after properly !) I was Certified Body Repairer and always washed and waxed Every week and carried out Minor Services myself, including cleaning the Engine and Oiling and Lubricating any Exposed parts of Bodywork, Chasis and Suspension. Undersides were Power-washed every Month (Spring - Autumn) with Washer on HALF Power - Very Important to do it this way to Retain the Underseal ! In Winter, just 75% Power with Detergent & Antifreeze, during the Early Afternoon to Reduce the risk of Freezing Components (keep Engine Running and Interior V.Hot if possible) There is a New Car Cover that has been Invented in Australia to Protect cars from Floods. It's like a Car- Sized Ziploc Food Bag. You drive INTO It (with a little help one presumes !) Leave the car running inside for a few minutes, get out, Lock the car and "Zip" it Closed ! Now I would think that above a certain Depth the 'Car Baggy' would Float Away ! But I don't see that as a Big problem in Russia, Byelorus, Poland etc I would be More concerned about the Weight of Ice/Snow that would make it impossible to get the 'Car Baggy' Opened, or make the car Immobile - but I'm Sure a Suitable Solution would arise [Something like a "Blow-Heater Set to Switch Off and On to keep the "Bag" at an Optimum Temperature - I'd leave that up to Someone like the Excellent Reviewer to work out - along with other Russian type Winter Ideas, like: "Rent-an-Artic Tent to Store your Car" ! A "Winter Storage Garage with 'Ducted Heating' to Keep your Precious: BMW, Mercedes, Jag, Lexus, Ferrari or Lambo Safe through the Worst Winter !" Some Ideas like that, when whiling Winter Away, Trying to Sell Winter Tyres and 4x4s and Winter Recovery Service etc to people who are either TOO STUPID to Get Them, or Too Idiotic as Drivers to understand How, even Moderately Powered Cars like our little Gem of a Yaris! can suddenly throw you straight off the road and into a tree, even when it's only Wet or Snowing lightly ! I, myself, am only 1 of several drivers in my Own extended Family who believe that in a Country as mild as Ireland and which gets little Snow, that Winter/Wet Weather Tyres SHOULD Be Fitted To All Cars from the end of November and for at least 4 - 5 months! But that's not the reason I stopped by, which was just to say how Excellent your Review about my Favourite little Car ! In fact we like Toyota cars So Much we've had 8 between 6 of us, with there still being 5 in the Family, from Aygo to Celica! Lots of Luck to You 👍☘

In my country, Toyota really down grade every spec in every car their produce here...like example, my grandma drive a Toyota yaris 2012, its hasn't keyless yet, it hasn't any of button in the steering wheel, it's has an old traditional speedometer, it's hasn't complete with ESC, The tape recorder is ugly, it's hasn't climate control AC, and many more of shortcoming...but that I like the only in my grandma yaris is it the engine, it has 4cylinder 1.5cc 5 speed manual, which is very fun to drive, the acceleration is amazing, I've done 200km/h in that car...and it's handled well than the other hatchback. but driving this car is like driving a stone age car, even my old nissan terrano has better spec in the matter of accessories.
