Have an Audi A3 8PA with the same engine. Sounds the same when it’s warm. (With the “rattling noise”) He is even more quiet when the engine is cold. This is normal for TFSI engines. Timing chain changed before 1k

I've checked the name of the video twice, because the engine sounds like a diesel. But that might be the sound, I literally have no idea how it sounds, but this car is a good choice for my next car. I just wander which engine to get. I think I'll get the 2.0T for more hp.

I don't think so. 1.8 TSI (and 2.0 TSI) have problems with timing tensioner. One of the symptoms is too loud engine noise. Another issue in this engine is excessive oil consumption ( like 1l per 1000 km). For example read this: www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/266114-18tsi-and-20tsi-engine-failures/
