I’m not sure, hard to recover from an unfavorable Prouse review. Hopefully I can get some more videos out on my setup that’s been running a couple years now with a pair of them.

Ok, compared to a current 5kw powmr or a Victron multiplus, thats rediculously High Standby consumption. Even the DEYE 10kW draws half of that. Is there and cutoff voltage for the load that Schutz down the Inverter ?

Are you talking about the sun smart powmr 5kw? I was trying to remember if I’ve measured it’s utilization. I know the older version was about 60w. I haven’t owned a deye unit, how much does that 10kw pull? I hadn’t seen the sol ark being an impressively low number but I also don’t own one.

Yeah if I’m not running a lot of loads the idle consumption of an 8 kw inverter is a lot. There are exceptions like the Schneider that is like 40w for a 6kw but honestly considering the reduction in power output available they aren’t too far apart. Maybe I’m off base. I’m certainly not going to claim the Megarevo can go toe to toe with Schneider. With some software improvements maybe sol ark though.

​@@BeeneEnergybig inverter for big loads, a few couple of smaller ones for small loads, or, I just run a generator for large loads, if I was charging a car tho, just more panels and more batteries B)
