It works, but the tire shops will hate you when it comes time to change those tires again.

Can I ask why shops will hate it? Is it because they want you to buy more tires or does it making something difficult to do?

@@Kiostu I assume it has gooped up all the inside of the tire and rim.

@@Kiostu I used to work at Dealership; as soon as I saw this in the tire, we stopped servicing the car. We only get paid 15 min for the tire but have to spend 2 hr to get it off, and it will leak everywhere to the equipment or our clothes. No, I'm not doing it.

I used this on a tire that had a small leak on the edge of the tread. It slowed it down and when I replace the tires about 6 mos later we looked inside the tire. The inside surface of the tire was shiny and wet, and the liquid was lying in a free flowing wet puddle in the bottom of the tire just like it was in the bottle. It did not dry or anything. There were some small fibers from the liquid in the hole on the inside plugging it. Clearly, the liquid puddle needs to be at the leak so I'm not sure how it would ever get to the tire bead unless you took the tire off and rocked it around or something. It worked ok for my use, but still leaked very slowly. I drove it on the highway and didn't notice any balance problems with about 6 oz in the tire. Their on-line calculator wanted me to put in twice that, but I was worried about the balance. After looking in the tire later, I can't see that more would have made any difference.

It stays as a liquid. When the tire spins, it seeps into holes and when it is exposed to air, it hardens and seals the hole. The liquid is capable of filling multiple holes and can be used to prevent small holes in the future.

@@DesignBurgess There's a youtube where the guy put a gopro inside the tire and filmed what happens to balance beads. It was pretty interesting. Slime probably acts the same.
