Megascans and Quixel Bridge with 3ds max 2024 - all functions and installation error fix

Hello everyone! You need to go to fab.com and click "Claim" by the end of 2024 to get all Megascans assets for free. Currently, assets are only available for download on the Fab website, so we're awaiting updates from the developers.

Quixel's switch to a new payment system has broken everything, and the developers haven't made any statements yet. We're still looking for a solution, and if anything changes, we'll release a video right away

I´m a 3D artist from Argentina, and I was really concerned when I downloaded the 2025 3dsMax version and the Quixel Bridge was not working. I searched in KZbin forums and many different KZbin videos; any of them were working. This video explains perfectly what to do in case Quixel is not working for 3DS Max 2024/25 versions. Make sure the paths to the folder where you installed Bridge are correct. Also check the direction of the slashes, they must be to the right / this is very important

25 max has updated interface and scripts, the developers haven't released the updated script yet. But I found this workaround: 1.Download the MSLiveLink file from Github: github.com/cyberhirsch/Megascans-3dsmax/blob/main/MS_API.py 2. Replace the file here C:\Users\_______\Documents\Megascans Library\support\plugins\max\5.5\MSLiveLink 3. Open the script, Evaluete All. 4. Restart 3ds max. No menu, but export works

they blocked the bridge. that takes our work behind in schedule... can't cooperate with Fab yet unfortunately. amazing video by the way💯sad we cant use your instructions after last bridge's update...🥲

Hi! The video will be posted tomorrow, but in the meantime, try updating Bridge to the latest version, then go to Manage Plugins and reinstall the plugin for 3ds Max, and also make sure that 3ds Max is selected in the Export Settings. This worked for me
