To me I like the sound of Peter Cullens voice in this series best of all. I know his original rendition of Optimus Prime in the '80s cartoon series is the gold standard, but there is an edge and a wisdom that he imparts in this role in this series whenever he speaks, that I think reflects the passage of time and the way that he's gained in his own life. This version of Optimus has seen more, experienced more, probably just like Peter. What a voice actor! How lucky we are to have his talents.

I like the fitting twist that in this version instead of being like Cybertron's Moon or something, instead just as Primus intentionally became Cybertron giving birth to autobots and decepticons alike, Unicron unintentionally became the Earth, bearing us upon his body. The greatest twist though, Jackson Darby, a human born upon the planet Unicron became the core of, is one who is worthy of becoming one of the chaos bringer's greatest enemies. A Prime.
