It's been too long since I've been in a position to have a garden, the last one was my private, beautiful little hobby. Enough for me and a little to share. To come home, then straight to the garden, tend and pick and weed. My after work meditation, the scent of earth and flora, The quiet sounds, wind through the corn, birds in the trees. That Moment involved with the weather. Yeah, it's like that to me. Your post's are joyful, but leave me with a yearning. A lesson in Zen, ...'it' will get here when 'it' arrives. Okay...one of my favorite comfort food lunch to make is some sticky white rice with fresh sliced or pickled beets. Topped with a little soy sauce. I know it's basic and simple, but rice and beets just go well.
