What if they gave an Invictus and no one came? This org needs to be taken back under the purview of the Minister of Defense, the budget funded by the military and Harry removed as Patron. The US Warrior Games has remained successful because it isn't anyone's soap box, piggy bank or vanity projrect, it has a budget funded by the Dept of Defense and managed jointly by the branches of the military. Sponsors add extra benefits for the participants and their families. This is how Invictus Games should be managed as well, by the military for the wounded veterans.

I thought it was William and Catherine that started Invictus and then they passed it to Harry thinking it would give him something to do! I could be wrong on this but it’s what I heard, no doubt this may be corrected. 🙄

@@G53ij yes absolutely William, Catherine and KC3 were responsible for setting up the invictus games while he was naked in Las Vegas playing strip poker; I was being sarcastic that if it was all Harry’s creation then he should do more to keep it going instead of using it as his own personal expense account.

As an American, i am aghast that the athletes that participate in the Invictus games foot much of their own costs. Personally, if the Invictus games stopped paying these 2, I betcha Megan wouldnt appear again! In fact, I'd send in a donation myself. Think about it..how many people would support these games if they ONLY let returning healthy veterans play? No one. But by using these horribly damaged but savagely determined vets, yes, it buys awareness and much needed support but people like Harry and Megsy are using them for a payday and their own personal exposure and photo ops. And that is almost as disgusting as making fun of a very beloved grandmother in her own home.

Many of us are writing to the charities commission in england requesting that they investigate the Invictus Games Foundation. If trustees dont sack their current trustee fir bringing games into disrepute then they will be forced to consider the lack of integrity of not only patron but also trustees.

Start a petition requesting Harry's removal as patron. He is paid a half a million pounds pa by IG. Then he and his wife claim outrageous expenses on top of that. Patrons should be raising funds and giving money to their charities, not sucking it dry!
