Our late Queen put their HRH in abeyance and they are not supposed to use it. Harry is trying to push his Dad to do something so it will be more "Woe is me victimhood". I know readings are SLOWLY making their way through Parliament but, the King could have a few things to use (I think) There is the Deprivation Act, I believe, last used after WW1 to remove Prince titles. Also Letters Patent, you know the ones made by the King in 1917 which said only grandchildren of the king got titles. Plus the one the Queen issued in 2012 to allow girls their right in line of succession according to their line of birth, so younger brothers could not leap frog them, hence Charlotte is currently 3rd in line of succession to the throne. If the King so chose to do surely he could issue letters patent that any current, and future, Prince or Princess and family, that choose to leave their Royal duties and move to a country outside the UK, its territories & Commonwealth Countries, should loose all their Royal titles, military honours, line of succession to the British throne, Counsellor of State status (and anything else I have missed) from this moment and for future generations to come.
