The problem with the NHS isnt rocket science. There are far too many overpaid managers and not enough medical professionals at the coal face. As a retired therapist I got sick of these so called managers constantly sitting in offices thinking of new wheezes for us to carry out which resulted in a load of superfluous clerical tasks, being able to see less patients and did not alter the quality of service to patients ( or service users as we are now supposed to call them) one jot. I had a double case load for the last six years of working because my colleague was not replaced. Add to that the fact that the Tories have been busy privatising parts of the NHS under the radar and underfunding it for years we have the resulting chaos where staff have decided to leave because they know they are likely to get the blame when something goes wrong even though they are working in precarious circumstances. Just look at how many of their mates benefited from the purchase of ppe during covid ( much of it faulty) I am not of any political persuasion and don't have any confidence in any of the political parties
