Someone is confused here. I'll explain.... There were TWO things going on at Netflix. One was an animated show that was going to be called "Pearl" (and Elton John's husband was supposedly one of the producers also)... THAT has been CANCELLED before it even really got going anywhere. They will NOT get paid for that now because it's been cancelled. They have NOT been paid all those millions that the entire deal is worth. They got SOME as an "advance"... Probably a few million although no one knows how much they got exactly.... But they would never get that entire amount until they PRODUCE A SHOW, or SEVERAL shows. So far, all they have basically is the Netflix film crew following them around on the Intrepid Museum for the awards for our (American) veterans and also the film crew following them around at the Invictus Games this year. That's all they have going up to this point (as far as coming up with a "show" for Netflix) We'll see how it all ends up, but they aren't really creating anything, are they? They just documenting their we-are- pretending-that-we-live-like-we're-still-senior-royals life. Because that is the only reason why anyone is interested in them, but because they stepped down, they're not so interesting anymore to many of these celebrity outlets. Hopefully this clears things up.

I have a feeling that once they saw what they’ve done to date the saw how bad it was and shut it down. And they didn’t get the money all upfront. They were probably given a few million with the rest contingent on if the program even does well. So far everything they’ve done has been a disaster. When you treat both families badly,you’re getting what you deserve. That Oprah interview was their undoing. You can’t trust either of them so do you really think Hollywood wants to be their friends? To give Meghan one due she actually did work to support herself after university. She took on jobs alongside auditions for acting and made her own way after uni. Meghan had jobs and a few years on Suits. Harry was in the army, but had it all handed to him on a plate from birth. Kate on the other hand quit a p/t job and then mummy and daddy gave her a vague role at their business. Kate has never done a real job in her life. William did work for a bit as a rescue pilot, but, like Harry, had everything handed to him by chance of birth and never struggled.
