For years of media hate for profit narratives mean many feel its now it's ok to put Meghan down as the default when seeing her. I notice you also parroted some of those classic anti meghan media talking points in the video. Bias is easy to fall in it when it's trendy and profitable to pile on someone. Eg when Meghan wear any outfit that ppl can match to a Diana look even just the same colour to an event she is copying trying to be Diana it's always framed negatively When Catherine does we get postive associations like channelling, pay tribute to honouring. Meghan is quiet lux she isn't dripping in brand logos we only know due yo the media putting her on blast for it articles about possible brand deals are splatter everywhere. In my opinion, she doesn’t have a personal style. Every outfit she wears is a recreation of a million ootd that you can find on social media. The royals don’t dress for trends and it has served them well. It’s also why people emulate their style instead. Meghan is a trend follower.

Finally, she’s not beautiful but she is attractive in the way a prom queen is. Difficult to be elegant…it’s not about fashion but enveloping your own personal style. That takes an honest appraisal of our body type & “problem areas”, attention to detail, how a garment fits/moves/ photographs, which colours work, what textures work, do hems need to be weighted etc. also good posture, properly fitting foundation garments are a must. She misses every time..How anyone can get it SO wrong, EVERY time is a mystery

I think I’ve finally put my finger on it. The Megs looks like she’s wearing last nights clothes, hair, and extra layer of makeup. Catherine doesn’t appear over done and is always fresh as a daisy. Even if her hair is pulled up in a ponytail it’s chic not dirty. I think part of it is Megan gluing down her “edges” to avoid any natural curl showing. I just don’t think her hair is clean nor hers. Then add the resistance to alterations nothing fits properly because of her odd body shape. She needs petite jackets with long arms 😂. Plus she’s always tripping over her hems. It all just comes together looking like she hasn’t been to bed yet.

I would ''have'' said her face was her fortune, she has a pretty face, rather than Diana who was attractive - Diana always caught the lens well, whereas, Meghan's has to be contrived more with lighting and makeup - but there are some stunning images of Megs - no doubt somewhat photoshopped. Meghan's choice of clothing, is cause and effect; look at the last pap shots, first it grates that she published these to take the focus from an 11 year old, Prince George. Then, look at what she was wearing, yet again - what was it you referred to her as the ''entrepreneurial woman'' lunch date with a female friend, exiting to an arranged pap walk!! So she dresses down so it made to look casual and ''authentic'' but look at her, she looks scruffy, the shirt just looks plain untidy rather than casual & smart, carrying DIOR handbag. Meghan will never make it through her fashion choices, her only success is click-bait for youtubers no offence intended. Meghan has lost the only opportunity in life she had to ''make it'' THANK GOD SHE HAS GONE - but there will never be peace for the Royal family or her father. Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly looked as though they enjoyed life and it radiated through their whole being, what they have in common with Meghan is they were actors, is there something Meghan could learn ?

btw i’m so glad you brought up the colour analysis part. imo Meghan is probably a true winter. She does actually look great in white and black- but those warm neutrals are really not for her. I have a similar issue as I have cool undertones so I simply try and find fashionable items in colours that work for me, and I simply avoid what doesn’t work. you’re so right that we should not just blindly follow trends

i’m in the Uk and also have little style so my aim is to look nice and reasonably fashionable- I have noticed that neutral seems to be incredibly fashionable right now, and there’s nothing wrong with that. I quite like Meghan’s style but i’m also about her age! However I don’t see her as a “style icon”. Just cause you can find that Diana wore an outfit doesnt mean meghan is copying or trying to be the next Diana by wearing it. When Catherine "copies" Diana the way its reported on the attitude is different. its uplifting. Like bonding with Diana channeling Diana. Jeans with white shirt is a classic look. Meghan isnt dropping in logos. We know the brand names cause they are blasted in the media not on Meghan herself. We dont know catherines as they arent put on blast by the media its reposted on subtly. Bias is easily picked up. Duchess meghan hasnt flopped thats a clear media narrative that doesnt match the truth. A part of being stylish and elegant isn't buying the sensationalist speculating hate for profit narratives of media. There are many such narratives about Meghan that are reharshed here.

My body type is very much like MMs except I have big boobs which adds another layer of difficulty. I can never wear Uber trendy clothes like low riders jeans (I have a short waist and small rear end) so instead I'd wear jeans that fit well in the legs like low riders and have a normal waist. (Thank God for mom jeans being more acceptable now!) With a longer top it looked good. I think my body type is very hard to dress and I've noticed I have all of her fashion concerns. Beebs made me even more aware of it. Lol But she gives good advice!
