As a British person living in America, you do end up hankering for things from your motherland. Sometimes just watching a British movie will make you want to be at home. I’m sure that Prince Harry is feeling the tugs at the heartstrings, especially as that’s all he’s ever known. You can choose to live in another country but until you’re there it’s a whole different ballgame. America is a wonderful place to live, but it takes time.

As an American who has lived abroad twice now I have to agree. As much fun as it is to live in another country you do get very homesick for friends, family, and neighbors. All the little frustrations in daily life exist in other countries. And they have the added difficulty in being in another language/currency/time zone/voltage/and bureaucratic department. I hope you find America interesting and worthwhile. It’s quite an experience living in another country.

People seem to feel that only women can be abused. Abuse isn't always physical. Abuse starts with psychological first. Men can be victims too, especially when the man has mental illness and/or PTSD to begin with. They use triggers to the victim to micromanage them, heavy on the guilt too. My guess is that she used his mother's death as a trigger to control him until she no longer needed that trigger. At which time he has become emotionally weak & confused.

He is a man, but he's being abused and controlled. That's not just giving power to your abuser; it is taken away! When I went to the therapist after I left him, I was told I was in a domestic violent household. If we had had any children, he would have used them against me. If their children exist, she probably is keeping him away from them as much as she possibly can. It's all about control. She probably never loved him and is using him everywhich way she can before she's done and walks away. This is my personal opinion. I really want to be wrong; but I don't think I am.😢
