I definitely get passionate when talking about wanting to changing society for the better and how frustrating it is when it feels like the majority of the population is okay with its current state and doesn’t have the time/energy to change. -ENFJ, love your channel 💕

Finally someone said it! I'm so sick of people thinking I'm gonna be a pushover and tryna get something from me for free, and then getting upset when I say "No." I'm so tired of standing up for kids who get bullied in school and everyone treating me like it's not a normal thing to do. My dad tells me I'm too negative all the time because I complain about the way that the school system stifles creativity and the freedom to explore and learn stuff in your own way, but someone needs to make a way for creative people to not feel wrong and useless in school. I dropped out just over a month ago because it was getting to me. I was depressed, I was contemplating the point of my own existence... creative people shouldn't have to feel like that just because we're creative. I mean, once you get to college, it's fine (or so I've heard, I'm starting in September), but we shouldn't have to go through 13 odd years of school feeling different and wrong and weird just because we don't work the same as other people. I honestly wish there was a way that I could fix that, but I don't know how to do it. Another thing that annoys me is the school system having anti bullying policies that don't work. They act like they're gonna stop bullying from happening at all by showing us videos about how it affects victims, but bullying's gonna happen whether or not you tell people it's wrong. I was bullied all my school life. Those kids weren't thinking about those videos while they were alienating me for not following what they were doing because I thought it was wrong, or verbally abusing me for it. They thought they were justified in what they were doing. A lot of them would gang up on someone they decided they didn't like, and I'd be right there defending that person. Last year, people starting following what I was doing which felt awesome, tbf. It just felt good to have a bunch of people standing with whoever was being targeted, and not being the only one. Schools generally provide no support for victims of bullying and I wish I could change that but I can't. Anyway, enough with the negative stuff. I've been helping my mum cut down on snacking because she wants to be more healthy, and she gets really annoyed with me when I see her going into the cupboard to get a biscuit or something and I run in and say "NO!". She's always like, "How did you hear me?" but the cupboard door is quite loud and I'm a highly sensitive person so my hearing is on point. I can hear her open the cupboard from a different room lol. But yeah, people get surprised when I have rules and boundaries for things, but that's just me. Even people who don't know about mbti. That always makes me feel weird because I start wondering if I've done something wrong.

You said it soo right Meghan! I’m an ENFJ too. It is all about not being a conformist, it’s important to say what is not working that well in the world (or in a more micro perspective)In the best way possible, and “caring enough” about things that have to be changed.

Yup. I've left a few jobs abruptly and emotionally as the feeling building up was just absolutely unacceptable and not changing or seemingly fixable with tbe personalies and mind sets involved. And no regrets at all - though it's taken time to rebuild in my new job (real estate) which I'm enjoying more and more as I commit to it full time and put my energy into it. It fits my person to person style well and I want the best for my clients and am ambitious etc. I was a political science major and have larger intersts and dreams than just real estate commissions but the independence is beautiful and fitting for me. Just freedom to go all over Connecticut and work with different people of all backgrounds and wealth levels and help them with their dreams etc.

God, I love ENFJs. Also, I'd say that unhealthy Fe looks like people pleasing, while healthy Fe is like, "there is no peace, we gotta do something about it." As an INFJ, I know exactly what your talking about. And this is why I love ENFJs because they are bold enough to make the truth of pain known. And that is really what I've struggled with. Letting what I know about the pain in the world be known. And now I don't feel anything at all. Like you said, "it's better to feel negative emotions, than to feel no emotions at all." I tried to explain how much I value the sensation of sorrow. They didn't get it. And now after thinking on that and enduring similar situations, I feel powerless. They just thought I was depressed, when in the etraverted feeling reality is that if you feel intense sorrow, that means you care and love the world enough do be pained by its pain. I wish I could say exacly how I feel. And after these months of people not seeing the beauty and importance of negative emotions have caused me to default to not caring at all. And as a result, I feel virtually nothing at all. We all need to recognize the importance of negative emotions. Because those people didn't understand that sorrow is an emotion, which depression is the void of emotions, they caused me to ignore emotions all together, even the ones of love like sorrow. Anyway, I really needed your inspirational words. And I greatly appreciated it. I know this was over sharing, but I don't care. It needed to be said.

1:17 Yes, that idea would be interesting, go for it! :D 9:32 True that. Misconceptions. I read into and followed mbti stereotypes for quite a while, a way too long while, even so long that I considered being an ENTP, before I got to know the functions. And I love debating ideas with an open mind. I've always stood for my standpoints adamantly _and_ respectfully. It's not that hard. I don't think any ENFJ would dislike a debate, as long as it stays friendly, or is about a topic of interest or importance. Honestly, almost no ENFJ I have ever met would chose a fake smile over defending important truths. In certain enviroments that were, let's say, uncomfortable for me, I had been a somewhat bitter person for a certain time during my life. Looking back on that, I can't say that this was any way near to the "typical ENFJ". But definitely Fe/Ni/Se/Ti, for my whole life. Stereotypes are off. And about typology, stereotypes should be ended, they ultimately help no one. Back in school, it was always a good friend of mine, who is an ESFP and a really smart guy, who helped me during math lesson. Now try to sell that to the stereotype sources ^^ Great video, Meghan, you're someone to truly look up to! =)

exactly!! because ENFJs don't CARE about Si comfort. And at the end of the day, important truths add to harmony MORE than shoving things under the rug and being fake. Fe PLUS Ni is there for harmony in the LONG haul. :D :D thank you so much for your kind words!

A meta-being is the term you are referring to when discussing the phenomenon of observing what your personality observes. You have an overview of your personality - I agree with your interpretation of the soul and personality as distinct. Noticing the distinction is important, it gives rise to self-improvement.

Thank u so fucking much for really putting all my thoughts into words esp starting from 6:18 onwards. I'm an ENFJ too and I would say I'm super principled on the morals of things and I'm so sick and tired of people who don't do anything to improve their lives and just accept their own fate. We should all come together and fight against the system that is deeply wrong to demand justice for all people. Is it actually correct for me to say that most ENFJs are probably more progressive and liberal than other personalities?

I was ENTJ,ENTP, but now I’m ENFJ. Idk if I changed because of my experience or it just happened. However when I switched my mindset from T to J, I found out that T ppl are very honest. They are hardworking, straightforward, and craving success. But these features do not function well in society especially if you want to climb up. You just have to know how people work. I think T people can get success if they focus on their skill set. Cuz the way they deal with people is kind of naive….(Nothing against them. I was also like that.)

I have difficulty responding to your videos because you say so many things all at once. But I like this a lot of them including this one. You really seemed like you cared about what you were talking about. I don't think that war will end as long as there are large human societies. Societies made up of people like me can't survive for long. Unless some other society is willing to use violent force in order to protect them.👽

1,000 votes for a vid on stepping back and observing! I identify as an ENFP and have found myself in a grip of my Fi, so strongly identifying with my subjective feelings and experience that I alienate can myself from reality. I can get stuck in my emotions and unable to perceive the bigger picture or a larger perspective.

Well no type is about behavior, it’s about the pattern of behavior and the root cognition. A collection of behavior can show you the pattern. Every type is going to have basic behavior everyone can do because everyone can do everything. To see the patterns you have to look at all 16 and compare
