I've been trying to learn more about intuitive eating and I'm wondering how you incorporate healthy nutrition and intuitive eating...meaning do you ever eat less nutritious foods like cake at a party or being a holistic nutritionist you don't feel like eating those foods? I have a tendency for orthorexia but after a while it leads to binging. Maybe a video on "how to eat healthy but also enjoy the cake and not go down the rabbit hole" would be good😁
@meghanlivingstone2 жыл бұрын
@@barbosborne698 Hey Barb! I have a couple videos on intuitive eating that you might find helpful. To answer your question though, I absolutely eat cake (or other things) if I want it! I too have a history of orthorexia so not being restrictive with food is super important to me. Letting a range of foods exist in your diet is one of the ways we help to minimize those binge-eating experiences. I also have a video on that, too (just search "over eating") 😊💖 Having balance around food is a video topic I have planned so I'll keep this in mind!

So how does hormonal birth control change your cycle? Does it become non-existent, or just less pronounced? I believe most hormonal birth control utilizes progesterone, so does that mean it’s like you’re in the luteal phase all the time? Im sorry if you’ve already answered this or if they seem like silly questions, I’ve just always struggled to understand exactly what’s going on in my body when I use hormonal birth control.

Meghan thanks again for another insightful video. I´ve tracked my cycle since highschool (I´m 27). Years it hasn´t been of much importance to me, it only told me I have a pretty regular cycle (althought, very painful, probably because of HIT? Idk, any suggestions? from your experience) Now I am learning more, also thanks to you and I soo believe these are basic things every woman should now about her body. I knew some of these things, what surprised me was the day 1 wouldn´t be the spots but when the flow is really "on", I was never really sure of that and now my tracking will be more precise. I don´t really believe in hormonal birth control, I think it messes up with woman´s body and since there is a natural option how to "cater" this, I am soo in. I believe natural way is the best way in everything..although sometimes not achievable on 100 % :) PS: love how you matched the background to your tank top haha keep up the good work, your videos bring peace and and kind of.. feeling of minimalism in sometimes stressful and hectic days

I’ve been really confused as I start to learn about my cycle. I’ve started to use ovulation test strips as I am TTC, and I’ve read people say that an LH surge means you ARE ovulating. Other, like you in this video, say that an LH surge means you are going to start ovulating within 12-36 hours. But then other say once the test strip stops testing positive, you are done ovulating. But you can test positive and then negative within a few hours. I have so many questions and I’m confused. How can I know if I will ovulate right after my test comes up positive versus in 36 hours? And as for my cervical mucous, if it’s stretchy egg white, does that mean I am ovulating or that I will ovulate soon?
