Hi, it means you are ovulating around day 11 or 12 because the luteal phase( from ovulating till next period) is always 13 days no matter how long the cycle (so a woman with a 35 days cycle is ovulating on day 21 or 22). Hope it helps 👍🍀⚘

I have pcos and have a very tilted uterus,i never realy saw mucus. I would attempt to check with no success... My solution: I used a "flex disk" ( a menstrual disc) #1 insert ,leave it a few hours, then you can check the disk. I have used this and it works ! You can use it to check and observe the changes.. #2 it Also works to trap sperm If you're trying to conceive. Flex disk actually works for me I recommend it to those who have pcos and are trying to track their cycle and track mucus changes. Those who may have difficulty with checking and needing the confirmation when trying to find their most fertile day.

Hello, do you have any information on ovulation bleeding? I just finished my first round of clomid due to low progesterone and possibly not ovulating, but I started bleeding around day 14 in my cycle for 2 days. It was definitely more than spotting and dark in color, but my doctor said this was probably ovulation bleeding and from the surge of hormones. Question! I was 14DPO, missed period, HCG 11.1. SO, technically pregnant. However, progesterone came back at 2.75, ended up bleeding and losing the pregnancy the next day. Would you say the loss was due to low progesterone? or the progesterone was low BECAUSE of the loss? Its my second early loss. OBGYN doesnt believe in prescribing progesterone.

I noticed that every time. When i have my fertile window, there would be one day that i would have very thick discharge for some time. I've read somewhere that is mucus leaving your cervix when you are ovulating, so sperm can enter. I had intercourse after having that discharge (on day 14) and i got pregnant.

Hi! I’m sure she can give you a way more thorough answer than I can, but from personal experience- I’m 31 & I stopped taking the pill a few months ago as my husband and I are trying to conceive. I had been on the pill for probably 7 consistent years or more and once I got off, my period pains did return and other symptoms as well. I am also regular on my cycles and seem to be ovulating as well. I hope this makes you feel better at least!

He explained it was possible for my husband to have only been born with one. I used to be confused about this too, until I bought the bird&be opk. In the manual it states “If you don’t know how long your cycle is, you can use the average cycle length of 28 days as a benchmark- that means you’d begin testing 11 days after the first day of your period” So to answer your question day 10-18 is counted from first day of your period according to The bird&Be opk. I have PCOS and very irregular cycles. My husband and I were trying for 8 years even with Clomid and we didn’t get pregnant and I believe it’s because I didn’t get the proper guidance from my OB. We gave up about 3 years ago and suddenly in early March we got pregnant which was shocking. Unfortunately that ended in an ectopic pregnancy at 7 weeks 😢. Now we have a new OB which I’m more comfy with so now we are trying again. It’s my first time using the Bird&Be opk and I got my first peak at 21days so I’m assuming we didn’t get pregnant when we’re trying because I had always used day 14 as a benchmark 🤦🏽‍♀️ So I suggest getting an OPK and test test test lol. We just had a miscarriage on March 15th I was 8w5d. On the 24th got the dollar store tests and I tested positive then on the 26th negative. I'm in a similar boat as you. OPKs can pick up HCG because it is structurally very similar to LH. I'm currently testing my ovulation and HCG at the same time because the strips are showing a positive on my LH which is likely HCG instead. I hope this makes sense. If you are not over 35yo, the best thing to do is start testing using an OPK after your period comes and begin BBT checks every day from now so you can try to detect when ovulation actually happened. It is possible to have an anovulatory cycle straight after miscarriage so don't stress. Start tracking BBT and, when testing, do a pregnancy test as well as the LH test to see if you have positives or negatives on both. I see it's been 11 days since your comment so hopefully you have had some clarity by now❤

Strange comment in the video: why tell someone not to keep tracking the LH ? Even the tracking apps will tell you to keep tracking. The is a difference between high, peak , low LH . Not sure if this video has the content that’s clear enough for the general person.

Once you get a peak you do not need to keep checking, it will continue to peak and fall throughout the luteal phase. The first peak is all that matters (apps want you to use more tests obvi)

@@NatalieCrawfordMD but see your information in the video is not complete and you mention nothing about a peak . You should test to see what your baseline strip will look like . And you said once you get your first positive stop testing but this most likely not be your peak .
