In my opinion, I agree with your theory...... I had been ridiculed by this thought since the split of NCP 😂 Sharad Pawar will play as the kingmaker and will support the alliance which will provide NCP with powerful Ministries Just like in the past...NCP will give up the CM post for more ministries which I believe will be the king move because when youre a CM you at the max boost the morale of your party but the main work and management goes to other ministries

See I would like to add 1999 Maharashtra assembly elections none of the party was able to form the govt ..So to give a stable govt to Maharashtra I don't think it was a wrong move to go with Congress as BJP and shivsena were already in alliance .. And Vilasrao Deshmukh was made CM Vilasrao Deshmukh being a smart person was tough to handle by Sharad Pawar In 2004 when NCP won 2 seats more than INC Sharad Pawar gave a CM post to Vilasrao Deshmukh again which remained a kind of a favour to INC. So this same chanakya neeti was used by Amit Shah to make Eknath Shinde CM and Devendra Fadnavis Deputy CM like killing two birds with one stone .. The Sharad giving Vilasrao Deshmukh the CM post was more under control of Sharad Pawar and decreasing the power of Ajit Pawar. Good move And indirectly if you observe sharad pawar was given more importance as minister as he was amongst the top 5 to take oath along with PM Like even after being an agricultural minister Well sharad pawar has many good points and bad points But his political moves are op And his never to give up attitude should be appreciated

But, Sharad Pawar has also criticized Adani many times in his rallies. I think people do not need to believe what Ajit Pawar says because he knows that he will lose badly in the coming elections and Sharad Pawar will get sympathy votes. That is why, as a last resort, Ajit Pawar is trying hard to bring back his votes by giving interviews just before the elections. I think BJP has instructed Ajit to give such interviews so that Sharad Pawar's votes get split in the Mahayuti.
