Loved this & some of the other tutorials you’ve shared. Even though some of what you’re saying sounds foreign to me, as I’m a newbie. I’m sure I’ll understand what everything is called as I learn! Thx for sharing 😊

Thanks so much for this tutorial. I've been searching for a easy straight forward flip card and yours was the best by far. And what's nice is you can change size without changing the scoring...Love it:)

When you are coloring your stamp with your markers, how do you keep the ink from drying before you stamp on your cardstock? Love the card.
@MegLoven5 жыл бұрын
Excellent question!! The Stampin Write Markers are formulated to stay nice and moist on the rubber stamps. Even with that, I sometimes color my stamp and then breath lightly over the ink to add just a little moisture back to it before I stamp. Hope this helps!

Hi I loved this video, I'm learning so much about card making. My question, I don't have a big shot but do have a cuttlebug. Would this technique work just the same? Sorry a newbie to cardmaking question. Thank you 😊

Love your video, going to try it with diff shaped dies, thanks!
@nancywaligorski10159 жыл бұрын
Very cool. Thanks. Doesn't it damage your cutting machine running die through with out anything.
@MegLoven9 жыл бұрын
+Nancy Waligorski If there's no plate, there's no pressure on the die, so the die's not contacting anything to cause damage. Good to check though :)

Hi Meg. Sorry to being a bit not with it today but do you line it up with the 2" score line or o the 3 and three quarters. Seeing loads of tips today. I cant believe how simple it is i have been struggling with my Couture die most of the day. Thank you very much xxx
@MegLoven6 жыл бұрын
Margaret Davies-Stead so glad you're finding the tutorial helpful! The center of the die should line up with the 2-3/4" score line. Happy stamping!
@WendysCraftDen6 жыл бұрын
Hi Meg. Thanks for replying i have just cut out the card stock and was trying to figure it out. You know you say to measure 5 and a half each way i get mine to go on top of my other 5 and a half. Is that correct? Hugs xxx
@MegLoven6 жыл бұрын
Margaret Davies-Stead hmmm... not sure I'm understanding the question. Cardstock base is 4 1/4" x 11" here. I score in the middle (5 1/2") to create the center fold, also score at 2 3/4" on one end to create the fold for the flip flop.
@WendysCraftDen6 жыл бұрын
Hi Meg, sorry about that last statement of course its the middle. I've had a stressful morning before i started watching you tube and thinking up ideas xxx

+Ken Nason There are a couple of layers in the 'sandwich' for the Big Shot. The base is the Magnetic Platform (130658) and the plates are the Standard Cutting Plates (113475). They come with the Big Shot or you can also get replacements when they start to wear out. Hope this helps!

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Linda - sorry about the speed. I wonder if it's possible to slow a KZbin video playback? You'd probably not be surprised to learn that I listen to all my audiobooks at 1.75 or 2x playback speed ;)
