this is great mate , i built one myself during lockdown to get us through that , everyone who comes says they would live in it and are made up with it but i'm thinking of extending it now it only holds 11 or so people and i think a lot more people are building these and staying in more i've had all my family and friends here for christmas and had a few school reunions here so it's not big enough now , i'ts only been up 6 months and i've easily saved that money what i paid out building it on staying in and not paying £3+ for a pint and then waiting for taxis and as you say no last orders , and no idiots with knives or guns , just your own company , ideal for the football or card schools with the lads or a girls night in , 100% better than sitting in your own living room having a drink , great job mate , enjoy megs bar you deserve it , i'm in my gaff now having a beer typing to you ha ha

We've just started work on converting our garage into a pub - this video has definitely given me some ideas and inspiration. If we can get it half as good as what you've achieved I'd be well chuffed. Amazing effort. Would be interested to see a video on your draft beer setup as I'm scratching my head over what to do for mine.
@mginbolton3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Neil that's some really good feedback appreciated.Yes I will do a draught set up video asap. It will tie in nicely to me connecting a keg up now the pubs are semi open I can buy one from my supplier.Im also going to do a slide show video on stages of the shed build i didnt video it I just took pictures but i can convert that into some kind of video with commentary.The wife is nagging at me to get some decorating done so i will work around that and my job lol 👍😊

Hi I'm loving what you've done here, I have finally talked the mrs round and started planning to build my own and looking to do somethinga similar size. What ground works and foundations did you do before build?. And Electrical wise does it have it's own consumer unit?.
@mginbolton3 жыл бұрын
Hi Buzz yeah it's got its own consumer unit I ran an armoured cable from the main supply.The ground works were already there previously it was just decking off the floor.So I boarded it.Decking frame pretty straight forward to do dig 9 holes around 3ft deep fill with concrete and place your posts in then build your frame around that.Check KZbin plenty of videos how to do it.Also check Colin Furze channel "how to build a solid shed" that helped me a lot.👍😁 Email me mark_g7@hotmail.com I'll send a link to my build.
