My Shed Pub, Hand Pulled Beer and the North South Divide

On March 21 this year Boris shut all England,s pubs, which was the right thing to do with the virus present. I spend a lot of time in the pubs with friends and I love hand pulled beer.
So I decided to build my own pub in the shed at the top of the garden as a lockdown project, install a hand pump and enjoy the pleasures of my own hand pulled beer.

It will it’s in a fridge it lasts longer then beer at the pub in a keg that has to be used in a week that beer pay has can be kept in the fridge for up to a year

Funny enough, I'm one of them too, and it doesn't stop me. I took delivery on Friday last of 20 litres of ale from a local micro, ,,,, I'm furloughed so can imbibe at will, but even when not, pick your times carefully and no problem. Back in the pre 92 BR days, many a shift was a boozy one, some some spare turns were 8 hours in the boozer!

After '92, if you were caught so much as in charge of a photo copier after having a drink it was a sacking offence! Fred Dibna remembered a pub in Bolton that had a metal ladder up from the pub yard to the railway viaduct above. Many a time you'd see a couple of guys down a few piunts then climb the ladder to a simmering 8F, and drive a freight train over the Pennines.

That’s best pub shed I’ve ever seen, too many look lik they don’t have any character. This looks like a proper old school working men’s or like trhe pubs we get where i live in sheff in the old terrace houses, literally the bars are like sitting in someone’s front room
