I used this today and it works perfectly 👌 . I was having the same problems as 0:20 and 0:21 and I tried different wiper blades, glass cleaners, alcohol spray but the only thing that fixed my problem was this glass polishing compound.

rinse off windshield exterior. Roll a blob of plumber's putty over windshield, up and down, and across, side to side. Apply micro-abrasive product and rub up and down, and across, side to side. Rinse windshield. Wipe off with micro fiber towel -- a clean one. Apply RainX or Turtle car wax. Let sit a few minutes, then polish windshield. Take a nap.

Hi Timothy, This will remove most if not all of the scratches depending on how deep they are. If you can catch your nail in them they will be tough to remove.

Don't want to have to spend more money if the tools i already have can get the job done. Yes you can clean the glass with our compound and then go over it with prep spray. Just check that whatever coating you are going to use is suitable for glass.

Unlikely. Glass is very very hard and few abrasives can 'polish' it back. It may fill some small scratches though so no harm trying.

Use cerium oxide powder slurry with hand polisher. Other products would make the scratches worse, learn from my mistake.

I’m confused though when to use this though ? I honestly wish you guys made a video when to use your products and in what order and what goes with what? Can I use this on my windows or my head lights( all I see is freakin bonnets cleaned )When to use the wheel cleaner before your wash or after clay bar when to use wax, when to polish, when to use detailer wax, or wash and wax or gold class shampoo for the type of water you have or wash and wax with carnauba or your NXT range if your prefer Polymer technology and what it means etc, honestly guys my garage looks a Meguiar’s Display store but yet most of the time I don’t know what to use because I have bought all your products because I am such a of the brand I have anxiety what to use because of the overwhelming information of use it like this or people comparing it to other products BUT JUST WONT SOMEBODY JUST TELL ME WHICH ORDER DO I USE YOUR PRODUCTS?

I’ll try to help you out since I was in the same shoes you were back when I first started detailing. To use this glass polish all you have to do is make sure you clean off the glass and dry it and then use this glass polish which will remove light scratches and watermarks/bug guts. But for general detailing knowledge, I wash a car by rinsing it off with water first very good. Then I use the meguiars wheel cleaner with a wheel brush to clean the wheels then I rinse the wheel cleaner off. After that I use meguiars gold class shampoo with a microfiber wash mitt. I then rinse the soap off and begin air drying with a leaf blower, after that I use a microfiber drying towel to wipe any remaining water. Now depending on the condition of the paint I’ll either just apply meguiars quick detailer/wax with a microfiber towel to the body and wipe off making sure there’s no smearing, however if the paint is in bad shape this is what I’ll do; After I wash and dry the vehicle I’ll grab my polisher and use a heavy cut polishing pad with meguiars ultimate compound, then I’ll use a soft polishing pad along with meguiars ultimate polish to get that showroom-like shine, then I’ll use either meguiars ultimate paste wax for protection or I’ll apply meguiars hybrid ceramic wax for extra water beading. Then I clean the windows with an aerosol glass cleaner and microfiber cloth and apply me go tire shine to the tires. I hope this all helps

Hello using a paint polish on your glass might give you some of the benefits of a dedicated glass compound but unlikely that it will give you all the benefits or a result that is as good as the glass compound

Many polishes have oils in them so you’d be polishing glass and leaving oils unless you cleaned the glass afterwards with another product

@@gjkrisa that’s because you used a compound and not a polish. Compounds don’t have oils in them. Ultimate compound does act as both if you work it long enough to a certain degree but it’s still a compound. Ultimate polish is even more refined and leaves a much higher shine when used on paint. The polish will have little to no effect as the glass is too hard.

@@MeguiarsAUS Felt it when it was wet I guess not "really" then? I think I was out of fluid and it was winter and I drove a small distance along the highway for a dance class. And then on my way from there it had frozen and was filthy so I stopped by a gasoline station and maybe couldn't find the real thing for removing the ice so I may have taken some of their water with sponge on the wind shield and then used a credit card or whatever. Something such. So likely I pushed small material down the wind shield and it left scratches. Or if the plastic or whatever I used was too harsh.

@@MeguiarsAUS Like to know if you have small swirl marks on the windscreen or windshield, after using this product will it remove the swirl marks, or do you have to use a dedicated glass polish, like i have seen which is a sandy grit polishing pad made for glass and then a different resin to get rid of the first haze made by the polishing disc, which made the glass look like it was done by say a 2,000 grit sand paper, looks like it, but its not, so just wondering how deep does the products really go, meaning that if i was to use a microfiber disc and then with all my might and this products will it remove the swirl marks after all if it can remove the scratches from wiper arms which the rubber has come lose, then it might work right? Please advise, as compound polish is abrasive even more than this stuff right, so tell me or help me with advise if you can ?

@@MeguiarsAUS wow negleted glass are we talking new cars which have not had their windscreen cleaned and has wiper marks from the rubber and the small dust and bugs which tend to go hard in summer and then the wiper blades then move those hard itesm right accross the wiper arm externsion, thus causing minor fine scratches and also say the rubber clip on the wiper arm came lose and thus scratches the glass will it remove them by applying this product and enough elbow grease a few times over the same areas ,will it work?

Not impressed with this polish at all, it's only good to remove rain stains. Used on a machine still requires a fair bit of work, I wouldn't even attempt polishing any window with this polish + elbow grease
