nicely demo'd Tom. now just have to avoid constant torrential rain here in Scotland, and get a day to try this out, its got to last better than a few weeks with Rain-X, but then i have been recently coating my glass with HCD which has been cool!! Would like to suggest hydrophobic screen-wash as new Meg's product challenge for 2020. 😎 Coat while you skoosh! 😁

That product look very good, . This product must a must to buy. So I'm willing to go out & buy it. As I'm tired of my windscreen looking not so good, no matter how much I clean it, it's like it has this greasy film on the screen, I tried every clean house old product, nothing seems to shift it. Even tried different glass cleaners. Even not as good, but dose clean the glass, until I try your product you demonstrated, I can't wait to give it ago. Thanks guys, can't wait for next video. Loving the meguiars products the greatest stuff in the world.a few questions I have on cleaning glass the window was very dirty infront do you first take a wet cloth to wipe it off to put the polish and sealant on and was that water you use to buff the window and can you use the perfect clarity glass aswell ontop of the polish and the sealant.

Only bit I struggle with is .. the new cloths are very expensive sometimes more expensive than the actual products...after a few uses and washes you do have to buy new for that 💯 percent clarity,if the cloths/towels were a tad cheaper I would buy more regularly,Shame the cloths cant be a bit cheaper than the products then I reckon for sure it's all a winning combo

IMHO, Meguiar’s old ‘No Smear Glass Cleaner’ was so much better than the ‘Perfect Clarity Glass Cleaner’ in giving a true no smear finish; not sure why they took it off the market 🙁 The compound and sealant demonstrated here appear to be worthwhile - will have to get me some! Thanks for the great demo 👍🏼 😎

Probably they swap it for some "enviroment friendly'' version that's usually shittier than original. Still seems to be working fine.

Just bought 120 pounds worth of your kit, did interior today and just fantastic, the improvement was quite noticeable. Quick question can I use microfiber towels for applying, drying? If I flip them over

When it comes to the interior we suggest applying sprayable products to the towel first so you don't cause overspray onto other surfaces.

Great video! Needs millions of viewers for this channel. I have this set at home, i haven't tried it yet, but i've got a question that i found no answeres. Could these microfibre applicators washed out? Maybe even in the washing machine? Or are these for one use only?

Just my opinion, I don't think there are so many car owners that care this much about the deep clean of their car...most probably, quick jet wash, brush or sponge and rinse. Personally, especially for Windows, I like to use brand new microfiber cloths, as I noticed the ones that I washed gave me a hard time, the washing machine doesn't get rid of all the washing detergent and that can make your work a lot harder.

I’ve been using these for for a couple years now it’s really good stuff don’t even need to use the wipers on a dual carriageway as long as there’s no one in front of you . But no one ever seems to says how long it’s meant to last ?

Glad to hear you are enjoying using this product! It's hard to put a length of durability on this as it all depends on climate but we see it lasting months instead of weeks.

Any tips for inside of front windscreen it's a pain in the arse to do also would you not clean windows wound down slightly first ?

Spray the towel directly for the inside, wipe with the product one way then flip the towel to a dry side and buff the other way.

It's amazing as usual. But the only problem which i see is, You gotta use a lot of the product and in the mean we gotta spend a couple of more bucks on the product. That is the only negative in Meguairs.

After the second application of sealant is applied, to wipe it off is dry towel or damp

The sealant needs time to fully cure. Simply spray some water to a towel and wipe any areas that you've missed.

You can if you wish! The Glass compound will remove any contaminants before applying the sealant but to be on the safer side you can wash it.

Although you did before and after shots on the cleaning what is the benefit of using the sealant, do you get improved water repellency, does rain bead and the wipers clear the water better? Also do you not clean the wiper blades, if not then the muck on them is just getting put back onto the screen. I like the idea of what you did to the car but just not sure what the real benefits are. Thanks.

Exactly that. The sealant adds water repellency to the glass meaning when it does rain you can clear the water away easier and use the wipers less. If you wish to clean the wiper blades as well then definitely do so.

Use the Perfect Clarity Glass Polishing Compound!

It's can be used the paint to remove water spots whereas the Perfect Clarity Glass polishing Compound is specifically for glass.

If you've not got the Glass compound then you can try the Ultimate Compound. But note that it is not designed to work on that surface so if the water spots aren't removed then you will need to use the Perfect Clarity Glass Compound.

It will compromise it's durability yes. However the idea of the sealant is so that you can use your wipers less during the rainy months.

You can wash the car first but the Glass Polishing Compound will remove any of the dirt and grime before applying the sealant.

Why apply a glass polish to a dirty rear screen? Would it not make more sense to clean the glass first? Same as machine polishing a car?

The polish for glass is made to make it clean before applying the sealant. You can only polish glass with things that are strong enough like diamond lol
