Great job everyone. One favor though. Although the slow motion and fast motion may look cool, it doesn't help us at home. We are watching to see the speed that you are actually moving the machine around. We can't tell that if you keep showing slow motion/fast motion. Better to just keep it on real time speed. Thank you!

Hey dude Ive been polishing cars for 20 years and when you do it in slow motion with this Da machine its to make the pad rotate only for renovating the paint with the right pad.And when you move it faster and more slightly its for polishing.

Oh yes, i bought a 22 Kuga, love this car. I would give him a little bit of love. Bought Ultimate Compound. Put it on, polished by hand and boom my black kuga looked exactly the same like your car at 0:32 min. Man, To be honest, I was close to having a heart attack. So I bought a polishing machine, pads, microfiber cloths, a wax and yes, now all the scratches and swirls are gone, the car shines like the queen's crown, unbelievable

So much more comfortable now after watching this video. Just 1 question, I was gonna do a little paint touch up on my car's bonnet and my plan was to fill in the chips with the paint but I want the surface to be really with the rest of the paint but I don't want to wet sand as the car has a metallic finish and The thought of sanding paint terrifies me. Could I use a DA Polisher and the buffing compound to smooth out the filled-in chip?

Super useful video! Thank you. Few questions - can you wash the pads after and use them again, or are they single-use? Also, how many times can you do this before damaging/thinning the clear coat? I did a small trial polish to remove a few light scratches, it worked great. I wanted to do it again, but for the entire car this time. Should I space the procedures out some?

Excellent video. How much of the compound (in bottle) do you end-up using per full polish? One full bottle, 1/2 a bottle or more? Are there specific soaps/shampoos to use before the decontamination? This is a super video and I liked it so much! Does the product that's applied at the end have paint protection? If so, how long is the protection? So, the way I understood the overall application of the products is that you do the first application once a year. In the case of this car, the three products are used one after the other. Thereafter, you will only use the last two products twice per year and then after only the last product is used, correct?

Well explained. The slowest speed is actually one that gets the job done fast. I'm thinking that's more for the professional who is trying to make a living. The home guy would rather take his time - even though this dual action is supposed to prevent burning through, it still will burn through if you dwell too long in one area, because those machines go relatively fast.

Could you theoretically cut, then polish and then add a clear coat? Have a beater which has no clear left at all, although base coat is strong. Or should it just be sanded with 1200ish? I know it will never be good as giving a new base, then clearing, but all i want is protection from UV and stone chips.

Yes, saturating a new/dry pad when cutting/compounding will prime it....then 5 dots going forward. You only need to prime at start of new compounding job when using a new/dry pad. For polishing they did not prime pad.

Great video lads ! When working each stage of the products would you do all 3 stages on each panel before moving on or compound the full car then polish the full car after etc ?

We would suggest doing each process on the entire car then move on.

Can you use one pad for each stage all around the car? Or do you need a separate pad for each panel? I assume one pad can do the whole car one stage
