The main problem I have is that Gaetz' judgement was so poor as to be anywhere near this cloud of sleazebags in the 1st place. Running afoul of such people is one thing. It happens. Hanging around them is quite another. 2nd problem is Gaetz' view of women. We want this in an AG? Would you be his employee, Megyn? Would you employ him? 3rd problem is whether Gaetz was honest with Trump and the transition team. I have a hard time believing Trump would burn considerable political capital if he thought beforehand a potential nominee would have an under 50% chance of confirmation.
