Delighted to listen to this magnificent treat - penned by His Excellence Bahadur Shah Jehan Saab - in the soulful voice of the great Mehdi Hassan Saab - all over again - ofcourse in an altogether different orientation altogether ! Umpteen times I listen to the magical voice of the great Mehdi Hassan Saab, the inner urge in my heart to listen to him increases umpteenth time ! Still, the inner urge in my heart remains insatiable ! Such was the wizardry of this great Wizard of Music ! It's always gratifying to listen to the great Khan Saab, when he was performing live, owing to his lively interaction with the audience and inimitable style of gayiki ! He had an uncanny ability to catch the imagination of the listeners, while performing, by casting a web around them and carrying them with the rhythm, owing to his magical voice and inimitable style of gayiki ! Personally speaking, the great Mehdi Hassan Saab had cast such a spell on me that it will be difficult to get out of it during this lifetime ! Quadrethejjutt Saab deserves appreciation for his immaculate choice of uploads ! Look forward to listen to many more of the genre in the days to come !

Jagjit Singh also tried it to sing but u all know where mehdi hassan n jagjit singh stands,I'm not condemning efforts of jagjit singh(who am I to do so,I myself don't know how to sing these types of intricate ghazals) but no one can reject one can't stand in front of god(the supreme energy). PS:I have just written what most of ppl say n mine thoughts as well.
