When i was younger and played football, i had a Adidas football boots, they were thick on their skin, good protection against naughty defenders, who prefer more stepping on your feet then covering/defending/stealing the ball from you.. I had the Adidas Bernabeu and the Adidas Predator 1th gen (The boot of David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane) (the 90's)

Ok So finally let me tell you why not everyone is wearing copa 1. The X and mercurial have a thin upper it allows players to feel the ball better ,even I myself feel this and that's why people take "mom's washing gloves" over copa's 2.The speed with these boots are better as they are light weight compared to copa's 3. now the control level on copas are ok but players prefer phantom or Predator for better ball control as they are dedicated to that task and overall give better response on shooting and passing. 4.tiempo,with protection comfort is a primary thing and most players feel Nike in general gives more comfort as I know few players Lastly don't be happy about the cow leather ,killing an animal is not great. Now I do give respect to copa's for their versatility however 3 P's matter while buying boots Position, preference and Papa's(dad's) money so I hope I answered your Question, your welcome. There are leathers that are top quality and leathers that are so bad that it doesn't even matter that it's actual leather at this point. That's what happens on 99% of all leathered boots, I'm not sure if it's a quality leather or not but we've seen in their most expensive leathered shoes (Nike and Adidas) that the leather is awful so I don't see why those will be different. However it's probably one of the best boots you can buy atm but extremely uncomfortable, especially if you have a wide feet that's why you have to go to a store and that specific boot and not buying it online

Which boot is wider to the fingers and tighter in the middle. My pinky is always crushed by most boots,it is so annoying, if I get 9’s it doesn’t hurt but the boots are sloppy. I think individual tailored boots, sole, protection materials, studs etc must be made as a norm. The right boot structure improves posture, synergism’s with the pressure and technique of the foot, pressure points, etc there is so much science. Discomfort kills talent. Comfort is king, then the player can focus on the game.
