I think this pairing was just to clear anyone around Nathan so they can make him eligible for Elizabeth. Faith felt more than friendship for him,,, suddenly she doesn't anymore. Fiona told Nathan to clear the air with Faith. and Lucas gets shipped to Capital City with Elizabeth's blessing. It's jus RETCONtheHeart at this point. I am not excited about it. I like Hickam but not with Mei... They are too different in character.

The writers for this show are really terrible they have turned Nathan into a dishonest fearful teenage boy around Elizabeth and Elizabeth has become dishonest with herself and with both Nathan and Lucas. From season 7 onwards the writers have turned all of these strong characters into fearful dishonest teenagers.

Please stop this Fiona thing. Lucas deserves better. The show is not about pairing characters... If so I will pair fiona and Nathan. Fiona spied and reported on Lucas when he arrived, She caused the oil sale/coal mine reopening disaster that tarnished his image. Why can't we follow the script? I prefer Lucas with the mysterious Jeanette who is also a widow. Or someone new BUT NOT FIONA.. He seems to care about Jeanette a lot. #LucaNette
