To be fair, the Mei wasn't flaming on Cyx so much as I thought he was going to. He knew he got outplayed in a few of those engagements and even complimented Cyx at the end. I think he was more upset about the Hog player on his team who seemed to be feeding.

Hooks in front of your face I will admit are pretty easy, but when you factor in distance, your movement, enemy movement and hook speed it can get pretty hard to correctly predict where you need to hook. If hook was 'ez' Cyx wouldn't be as popular as he is. We watch Cyx because he pulls out crazy hooks often. Not everyone can do what he does. Compare this to mei who literally just has to get in your face and it's no competition as to which takes more skill.

@@joshmaranfino2144 Both are flankers, but with totally different playstyles. Tracers lurkes around the enemy backline, constantly poking in and out, taking as much cover as possible. Meanwhile Doom repeats his skill combo, while jumping in and out til he either kills a support, or dies instantly and rages like a maniac. Most Tracer players know well how high risk/reward their hero is, aka they don't rage much... doom players on the other hand go ballistic the moment something happens. In general Doom has more opportunities to burst players down, hence ruin their day instantly. Tracer is more of a moderately dangerous constant threat.

I mean old Hog could "1 shot" 250 anyway. Max potential damage was (150 Base Damage x 2 Full Headshot) + 30 Hook + 30 Melee = 360. Or after just hook damage around 76% or more of the shot needed to connect as a headshot. So This buff has only made it slightly easier to 1 shot 250, not enabled it.

Hog can technically one shot 300 hp heroes with just his scrap gun, but you need absolutely every pellet to hit their head hit box.

I doubt it, genji was actually busted as can be seen from his disgustingly high pick rate after the buff. Hog is good is still easily countered (ana or zarya for example).

@@Ragingraccoon I'm a tank main. If I play support it's ana, one of his better counters. He shredded everybody, not just supports. The increased damage along with decreased spread made him do far too much damage far too quickly. The burst damage was literally insane for anyone who's not a biased genji main. On top of that he built blade ridiculously fast. He still can compete with supports. I do think his damage per shruiken could go up by 1 to allow him to one tap squishies but I'd rather him stay as he is now than revert the nerf. Man's was complete cancer for a solid week

See I really don't feel like hog is busted or broken, it really just feels that way sometime because they nerfed shields so hard. And with hog's high damage and the range on that hook, combined with the crazy self heal he's mostly free to play as aggressive as he wants a lot of the time on the less open maps unless the team really works to counter :/

The only hard part about mainly dealing with a Hog is making sure you dump all your damage into him. Or doing the poison from Ana's heal splash. I think they should just add 1 second to his heal's cooldown and a small but noticeable speed debuff
