Meike 85mm F1.8 or Meike 85 F1.4 - what are the differences!

Je viens d'acquérir le 1.8....et pour le prix je suis très impressionné du fait qu'il soit auto focus et donne de très belles photos. Moi j'en suis très satisfait même si le moteur est un peu bruyant. J'aime beaucoup cette lentille. Merci pour ton vidéo 👍

I consistently like the colours and contrast of the 1.4 in your shots. I'd love to see some indoor moving shots with the 1.4. I'm considering it for wedding/event work, and need it to work while moving in indoor lighting.

They recently released a pro version of the 1.8, as of Dec 24th 2024, there are no reviews on KZbin with it. Also, I correctly guessed which one was the 1.4 for every single shot, the difference in the blur is definitely noticeable.

Hello Photorabz! I like your review but I want to know if you tried this f1.4 on someone that is walking towards you or a moving subject. Do you think it can keep up with the subject? I am using a Nikon ZF by the way. I'm having trouble if I should get the Meike 85mm f1.4 or Viltrox 85mm f1.8 I have enough cash to buy one of the two. Should I hit the buy button on this Meike 85mm f1.4? 😁😁😁

I totally understand you. When a person is walking towards you is certainly an issue on nikon cameras unfortunately even with native lenses... but i tried on a wedding while the bride and groom coming towards me.. i got lots of hits and very little misses. Btw viltrox 1.8 is good but the 1.4 of meike has huge advantages....in my opinion I wld appreciate if you buy your lens via my affiliate link for meike or my aff link of viltrox🙏

@@photorabz I don't think you were S and five O's slow, but I totally skipped through it as well. A thing to consider is the balance between sponsorship and subscribers. I skipped through the first 5 minutes of your 15 minute video because I didn't care for the content and I will not subscribe. Maybe in the future you nail it and then I will subscribe. We're both giving you feedback. But, you do not have to take it.

Depends on the situation. AF is Soo tricky and I feel like even if we can use third party lenses but there is something still not allowing the camera to perform as good as with native lenses. Sony they have a statement about it, canon they just started to allow third party lenses

You have less views on your video because you talk to much the viewers come to your video because of the lens make a clear reviews on the lens focus on the lens and not your face
