That's interesting. I'm also facing the same problem as you and I thought mine was faulty. I see about 10 to 30bpm higher heart rate reading with it. Meilan must solve this problem first before they continue selling it. Since I'm not the only one having this problem, I have a feeling that every unit sold has the same issue. Before publishing this video, I used the C5 only on easy rides where I don't push hard. It was only after I published this video that I used it several times on really hard rides and noticed something wrong with my HR readings. Sometimes, it goes as high as 225bpm, which is impossible.

Please refer to Andre's comment on this video. Yes it is comfortable but the C5 seems to have a major issue when it comes to accuracy. I only realized this after the video was published. Due to this issue, I wouldn't recommend the C5 to anyone until Meilan fixes the problem.

Is there an APP on android for this device?

It is compatible with most smartphone fitness apps that can display heart rate as long as you turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
