BEST OPTION ▶️ amzn.to/3l5WCrb Heart Rate Monitor for Running, Cycling, Zwift, Swimming
Heart rate monitors are great for giving quantifiable data when it comes to running, cycling and all things exercise. Chest strap heart rate monitors are also super accurate and can come at reasonable prices.
But what's the best heart rate monitor and is there big differences between more expensive heart rate monitors and cheaper ones.
Here's my experience with a premium one the Garmin HRM Pro (amzn.to/4280bxr) and the COOSPO HRM (amzn.to/3ThuE8w), both designed for running and cycling. The Garmin HRM Pro though is also waterproof and can be used for swimming or triathlon and gives extra running dynamics data like cadence and ground contact time.

Thanks for the review, I have just ordered a COOSPO. I hope Garmin are listening, because they have lost me as a customer. I have the HRM Dual, and none of the precision screwdrivers I have fit the cover screws for changing the battery. Garmin went out of their way to make a simple task difficult. I also have the same problem you mentioned with the chest strap.

I recently got a Moofit (the black one) HRM, which I think is a clone of of the Coospo, and it's been working fine for my needs, basically Zwift rides on my Wahoo Core trainer. It seems accurate and fits wel. I don't need anything fancy that's more like an EKG than just a HRM, just an accurate way to measure HR. The one potential negative I could see was that the strap seems a bit cheaply made and might wear out faster, but I'm guessing that a cheap replacement won't be that hard to find. To pair it and my Core with my PC I bought a cheap USB Bluetooth 5.3 adapter by Maxuni, and it too has been just fine. It cost around $10 and the Moofit around $20. I'm just a casual fitness cyclist and both are perfectly fine for my needs.

@@alexreaderThanks, managed to connect. But how do i know after a run in garmin connect if the HR of the H808s is displayed and not the data from my garmin 955 optical. HR reader. Thanks for the heads up
@alexreader
@alexreader 10 ай бұрын
@asprine3310 if you connected the HR strap at the start of the run then the HR recorded and displayed will be from that strap rather than the garmins optical. It will automatically go with the strap if you have Bluetooth and everything enabled. My fenix will search for sensors when I hit run and tell me if connected

You forgot to mention that Garmin’s strap can’t be replaced. Where’s as the others can. If you want an upgrade go for Polar H10 removable strap and onboard memory. HRM pro has running dynamics but you can buy the separate pod for that

My hrm pro broke recently, so I had to buy new one and after a while I choose Chinese Magene h603 monitor. As an amateur runner I don't need all of these statistics that hrm pro gives. Chinese one is precise with heart rate as Garmin and that's what I need 😁. And what's the best about magene is that baterry replacement is very easy and fast!
