First time I saw this I was blown away and I love the track. A few months later I discovered the album on Google Play Music and I couldn't believe the track was on there!!! The traditional heavy rides are the prefect mix of ping and wash with a nice crash. I guess that's the whole point of the traditional line though, to be applicable to most situations, but the heavy ones are other worldly. Especially the 23. The 23 I think has the best balance of all the traditional heavy rides.

Holy shit, after all these years watching Alex's videos, how the hell did I miss THIS one? This might be one of the most impressive ones, just on chops alone. That keyboard in this song reminds me of an album I did with keyboardist Jonah Weingarten called STRUCTURE OF INHUMANITY "Completion Integration". Of course, my drumming doesn't compare to what Alex laid down in this video!
