He's got the bandana of +10 speed and +10 agility. Which is entirely unfair IMO

Origin goes hardcore? This is the thing everyone needed without knowing it could exsist. Absolutely killing it. Mr Longstreth with Origin and Meinl Cymbals with the production. Thank you!

Man has mastered the Heel-Toe technique. I respect bands that can actually pull there material off live. First time I saw John live with Origin was back in 2001 at Winston Salem NC Ziggy’s and I was blown the f away. These dudes were pulling off there material faster than the studio recorded content. I know they have had line up changes but every show I’ve seen since 2001 which is 9 times has been phenomenal. John would play a full set with the band Skinless THEN play an Origin full set 🤯.

John is next level special, but in terms of heel-toe double strokes, I would have to nominate Evgeny Novikov as having the most solid technique. Dude has even invented his own unique hybrid version to transition between double-bass speeds and groupings, plus when playing live, his feet are flawless.

I've always admire Nicholas Barker drumming and never actually found someone as good as him, until now. If there's someone who will fit perfectly his shoes is John. Both are legends but John is in a league of it's own, when comes to precision and speed.

I only discovered John in the last couple of years, after 560000560000 covered Saligia, and my first question was 'WHO IS THAT DRUMMER?'. He manages to play tastefully at speed, and that is not an easy feat. I can hear Saligia in the outro so I know Meinl are just teasing me. Playthrough when!?

Saw him play for Gorguts at a festival like 14-15 years ago, ripping songs off the Obscura album like it was scratching his nose. Saw him with Origin headline for Archspire at a small place in NJ, less then 2 dozen people there. They played like it was an arena. His mind muscle control is cyborg like
