Meisha's Ultimatum SHOCKS Nicola

Meisha is ready to issue her ultimatum. She wants Nicola to know that if she doesn't leave Israel with a ring on her finger, it's over! Nicola already felt rushed about introducing her to his siblings. And this added pressure may just be too much for him especially given their drastic differences. BUT... there may just be a glimmer of hope for these two. If the compromise at the end of the episode is anything to go by, Meisha might just be able to break Nicola out of his narrow confines.

When they were taking the picture of themselves in Hifa (sorry wrong spelling probably) she snuggled in close and he put his arm around her with his pit right under her nose, it’s was gaggy!! He doesn’t work so he has plenty of time to wash and press or at least hang his clothes so they don’t look like he lives in the gutter. Probably his poor deaf mom does the laundry since we know that’s “women’s” work. Nicola is a Arab catholic. I just wanted to point that out because last season Mohamud was given a tough time for also being religious. He was even endured gaslighting from the cast members and given a side eye whenever reacted. They literally provoked him and Shan/Sean (excuse me if I misspelled her name) even asked would it be different if he wasn’t Muslim? ….fortunately we get to experience the opposite in this season. Both are Arab, both are religious but two different religions….. I haven’t even heard a single KZbin video talking about his religion. It’s all about him directly while mohamud season about Islam and him being Muslim. This goes to show how bias people are and the stigma surrounding Islam needs to stop…. There’s a while chapter on divorce in the Quran, it’s allowed for legitimate reasons but frowned upon in the community. I’m divorced and Muslim, apart from cultural bias I haven’t received a hard time from other Muslims. The only absurd comments I got were from two Christians. I asked what if domestic violence is involved? They both said I needed to make it work or separate and I’m not allowed to remarry. One even said my second marriage is adultery lol …. One important thing is missing. I’ve never heard her say anything about him having a job or a source of income and he’s never volunteered that information on camera anyway. They both have different preconceived ideas of what’s important in a marriage. Having religion in common is great, but it’s more important to have a grasp on reality since they’re just getting to know each other. And it’s obvious he comes from a patriarchal culture where the man is the boss and has the final word. That’s why he doesn’t really understand her actions. They should go their separate ways.
