Scared me even more because that just happened to my cat last night. She had a bad reaction to the anesthesia, she was under the effects for 10 hours. Whereas my dog was fine almost instantly.

봉지가 그 마취제랑 엄청 안맞았나보네요 보통 저렇게 쓰는 약은 엄청 메이저하게 쓰는 약일텐데ㅠ 그래도 이렇게 빠르게 조치를 해줘서 오히려 믿고 갈 수 있는 병원이라고 느끼셨을 것 같아요!

에고,, 봉지가 저희 아가랑 같은 일을 겪었군요. 집사님 얼마나 마음졸이고 힘드셨을지 잘 이해되네요. 약 2년 전 쯤 저희 애기도 치아스케일링 전신마취 직후부터 약 2주간 하반신 마비처럼 뒷다리로 서지도, 걷지도 못했어요. 병원은 비상이 걸리고 저는 까마득한 지옥 한가운데 있는 느낌이었고.. 스테로이드 처방 등 모든 방법을 동원했고 다행히 애기가 건강히 일어났습니다만, 이 사건 이후로 생사를 오가는 불가피한 경우 외엔 애기를 전신마취 하지 않겠다고 다짐했지요..(치아관리도 열심히 하구요) 실제로 미용 목적의 전신마취를 했다가 고양이 별로 가는 아가들이 정말 많죠. 이 영상을 계기로 "우리 애기는 건강하니 괜찮을꺼다"라고 생각하는 분들이 적어졌으면 좋겠고, 그런 의미에서 이번 컨텐츠는 많은 분들에게 너무나도 도움이 될 것 같아요! 감사합니다!

My kitty almost died from flea meds we got from the vet. I treat him regularly because he likes to go out and sunbathe. The vet recommended a new drop and I got it. Like two minutes after it was on him he starts to foam out the mouth and had a seizure. I cried I literally thought he died right there on the vets table. So glad your kitty is ok!!

I bet it was Hartz. Our current cat of 16 years was a stray. When we first got her, mom gave her a flea bath in Hartz and it nearly killed her. She still has nerve damage from it.

Oh my god. Yes, if a vet clinic is giving anesthesia it is standard that they should have the antidote available. Even though it is very rare for a case like bonji to happen.

My siamese just had surgery and it also took him 3 days to recover from the anesthetic... except he's 17 years old! It scared me to death cos he wasn't eating or drinking but my vet reminded me that he's an old kitty and recovery will always be harder on them as they age. Glad Bonji is alright! 😻

My Siamese was named Nik and looked much like Bongji. He lived to be 19 years old. My oldest cat lived to be 23 - I hope you and your darlings have as much time or more together.

Title scared me. So painful to watch Bongjii struggle walking. How Bongjii loves you both by giving nudges while still dazed. I'm sure Bongjii was Glad that Soo was there to hold him during the visit. You both absolutely best parent Bongjii can ask for. My point cat also had anesthesia for teeth cleaning and had 2 teeth removed. She isn't full Siamese as Bongjii but a snowshoe cat. She was super tired and didn't eat much for almost a week after her surgery. It really painful see your beloved cat suffer/not herself.

저도 봉지처럼 샴고양이를 키우고 있는 집사입니다. 저희 고양이는 얼마전에 항문낭 파열로 인해 고생하다.. 재발 방지를 위한 항문낭 제거 수술을 했어요. 항문낭은 없어도 상관없는 거라고 하더군요. 계속 파열돼서 아파하는 것보다 없애는 게 낫겠다 싶어 전신마취를 하고 진행하기로 했습니다. 저희 고양이는 10살인 노묘라 마취에 대한 부담에 대한 이야기를 선생님께 했더니 의사 선생님도 아신다며 그렇지 않아도 부작용이 가장 적은 '가스 마취'를 해서 하겠다며 정말 자세한 설명을 해주셨어요. 그리고 두번 마취할 필요가 없게끔 스케일링도 같이 진행해주셨죠. 반려동물들에게 전신마취가 얼마나 위험한지 어느정도는 알고 있어서 걱정이 이만저만이 아니었어요. 하루종일 일도 손에 잡히질 않았으니까요. 몇시간 동안 마취에서 깨길 기다렸다가 집으로 데리고 왔는데 봉지처럼 비틀 거리는 모습을 보니 정말 가슴 아팠습니다. 호흡이 안돌아왔단 말을 들었을 때 그 심정 정말 말로 다 표현할 수 없었겠죠.. 저같아도 심장이 내려앉는 기분이었을 겁니다.. 봉지가 괜찮아서 정말 다행이에요 :) 마취에 대한 위험성을 알리는 유익하고 좋은 영상 정말 감사합니다.

Thank goodness everything turned out alright. Siamese cats can live a very long time under good care. Mine lived to 21! I hope you get the same long life for your sweet cats.

I was scared by the title... my cat fell extremely sick when he was 16yrs old and never recovered. He passed away in the hospital. Watching your cats and your family and dad with them makes me feel close to them too. I’m supremely glad your Bongji is ok. Bongji is stay Strong! 💪🏻

깜짝이야..; 그래도 다행히 해독이되서 다행이네요..... 두분도 많이 놀라셧었겟어요; 봉지가 워낙에 건강체질이라 생각지도 못했던 일이셧을텐데...,냥이 전신마취는 정말 신중히 결정해야 할문제라는걸 다시 한번 깨닫게 되는 영상 이었네요.

LOL Silly boy his anesthesia didn’t ware off yet and he’s trying to run! Also cats body temperature drop when is this state. It only lasts for 30 minutes so make sure to keep your cats warm everyone.
