Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 3 Review | Are These Still The KING of Gaming Headsets!?

Heard: too heavy, uncomfortable, low volume at max, so I passed. Bought them today, and awesome. Everything I wanted in a headset my Audeze Maxwell has but lighter, way more comfortable, loud at max volume and audio quality. The Maxwell's are heavy and uncomfortable. Wore the stealth 700 gen 3 for an hour without having to take them off or adjust, could've went longer. I will not bother updating the firmware. They work great with my series x and no issues so far.

How is the mic quality on the Gen 3? I've been told Gen 2 sounds hella muffled.

@@BlackStarSeriesyou have to use your pc and phone app at same time with both usb plugged in. Once installed drivers you can update via the app

Yea this has been the wordt setup I have ever seen for an electronic. Might return mine as well after 2 hours of juggling uSB dongles and messing with their horrible app.

By biggest issues with the gen 2 of these is the audio adjustment wheels, they seem to work for a while and always give out later. I warrantied my first pair and now the second pair is doing it too. I guess it’s to early to tell if the gen 3 has the same issue

I have the Xbox version so idk if it is or isn’t compatible with PS3 but for PS5 i don’t see why it wouldn’t be given it uses a usb dongle

@ yep I’ve got streams on my channel you can hear for yourself. My followers told me I sounded horrible soo I listened back on a stream mic was trash soo I returned them got Astro a50 those suck to. Best mic is on razor black shark v2 pro

The update using your phone was the easiest thing ever literally took a few minutes best thing they have done rather than hook up to a laptop

First, why does half of your review sound like an ad? It's as if you are reading off a pamphlet 😅😄😂. In addition, are you really not going to address the *potential issue* with the metal bridge hinge that connects to the plastic headset? It's looks very *fragile* . The SteelSeries 7/ 9x have similar architecture and a lot of people have reported that specific spot as a "design flaw"; Prone to breaking/ snapping off over light use.

If it sounds like an ad to you then that’s a you thing and not reality. If it was an ad/paid promotion then I’d be federally obligated to disclose that or I would face jail time. Secondly, Every reviewer writes a script and reads it so idk why this is a bad thing to partially read a script to maintain accuracy for the benefit of the viewer. Thirdly, idk what potential issue you’re talking about because I didn’t encounter that nor knew I was obligated to cover an issue that wasn’t of my knowledge nor anything I’ve experienced. Lastly, if you want feedback from a creator, try not to be pretentious in the comments as that almost always guarantees you won’t get a response and we as reviewers do not owe viewers any obligation to cover anything as the reviews are based on our experience with said product. I don’t give a fuck what other people complain about, I only cover what I experienced. If you don’t like it then go make your own content on it or find someone else to watch OR approach asking a question more respectfully

You can do an update with the app so long as the dongles are plugged in and the headset is Bluetoothed to the phone. You don’t need a pc

So how do i update it. I can’t use the app due to it keep asking me to update. I connected both usb adapters to Xbox and began the update but at 50% it cuts out and says update failed. Am I doing something wrong ?

Plug both into your PC and run the mobile app or Swarm 2 software with the headset powered on and connected to a pc
