I like it because its desolate and is ruined when you know it was once vibrant and full of life until the Dragonsong War and the Calamity happened. Theres just history here and the artwork potrays that.

I absolutely love this theme It sounds oddly sad, which is fitting for looking upon the destroyed ruins of when ishgard and dragons lived together. Flying around and listening to this theme was a real blast.

This is something special with soundtracks in general. Non-soundtrack music stands mostly in isolation. But soundtracks are inherently associated to stories, characters, and locations, so when we listen to the soundtracks we actually think of more things than just the musical notes themselves.

Started playing ff in 2021 and when got to this area i had to stop and listen to it. Stopped playing in last year but this melody reminds me of me and few friends playing ff14 in lockdowns, talking bout life and what we are are going to do after. Nostalgic Cant wait to be back

Accidentally hearing this again after revisiting Forelands, calms me down. I've been feeling a bit rough lately. No plans or knowing what my future holds. Gaming is getting boring and lonely, even on XIV. I'm stuck in a routine loop of waking up and trying to figure out what I'm supposed to do, what could i do. Launching XIV between times just to sit around on my own and do a few dailies. Same thing over and over again. It angers me. If I have enough energy to try something different I will, like cleaning my graphic screen and sketching a bit (it's been months since the last time so that was something). While we never know what tomorrow brings, I tend to take that as a promise. As I'm feeling stuck and depressed now, one day it might take a turn and start getting better. I hope. It's been a fight these past few years. When I have the strength I gotta try to put things in order, sooner or later.

And you just stop playing and start to fix the things that still can be saved. You desperatly spill all the painting that left. Everywhere. You're not sure about it, does it look good? You really can't tell, but you tried. And you'll try again. You will know, someday.
