A highlight from our time in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) was a day trip to explore the Mekong river delta. From island hopping in a range of boats to bicycling, taking in the local culture and cottage industry, to trying some insane ‘snake wine’, there’s a lot that gets packed into this tour. And so, we were thankful when the concluding stop of our day was the Vinh Trang Pagoda to soak in its serene calm and take in the gigantic Buddha statues. Hope you enjoy this day out in Vietnam.

Good morning dear Kripal - Finally time to watch the Vietnam vlog . Missed the last one as I was in Chennai. Both of you look dapper in your respective outfits . Mekong is an interesting place and missed visiting it during my last trip to Vietnam . For a change Boss is tired of walking and wants to just chillax in the bus 😀 The boat ride is wonderful. Time to enjoy some fresh fruits along with listening to some local music . Beautiful 👌 Oh darn you almost fell off in the stream ( who captured this video - Boss ? ) Next pitstop for some honey tea 👌Mot , Hai , Bai , Yo ( cheers) 😀 The orchid plantation looks awesome . Time to head out to the next province ( coconut delight) 👌 Though I don’t have a sweet tooth I am drooling looking at the coconut candies , the one with peanuts and boss loves the coconut cake 👌👌 Wow you tried the snake wine ( I wouldn’t have dared 😀) Boss loved the coconut wine while the Banana wine was just more ROH heavy 😀 The dry coconut with the brown sugar is something to relish . Next stop at an island 🏝️ This is a wonderful boat ride especially with an idyllic backdrop. Time for a bicycle ride and boss opted out of it to relax I on a hammock . Time for lunch and unfortunately you didn’t enjoy the lunch . Great that your guide sprung in action and dished out some Tofu & rice 👍 Yes Boss looks tired and now you are back in the mainland . Good that you enjoyed the Mekong Delta tour 👌 The Vinh Trang Pagoda looks quiet , calm & serene . Simply loved the quiet vibe . Thoroughly enjoyed every frame of this Mekong Delta tour.
