Mel B was the first celebrity I ever saw to rock her natural curly hair when I was 5 years old when Spice Girls came out, and I looked up to her. Growing up, my mom was trying to get me to relax my hair, and I always said no up until 6th grade. Now, I have been natural for 12 years now.

I remember when I was a child I didn't pay her much attention, I guess being into the "Barbie aestehics" I gravitated towards Emma as my favorite Spice girl.
