That was my special needs brother's favorite song. He played it on his CD player every day and requested it on our local country radio station about every day. He sadly passed away 3 years ago from Covid. I played the song last week and my cockatiel went ballistic looking around for my brother. It was his cockatiel. He played the song everyday and Cinnamon remembered that song and must've liked it. I didn't know a cockatiel could enjoy a song like that. It was sad and happy at the same time.

Moved to the states about 40 years ago as a young refugee from half world away. Listening to fine music my Mel McDaniel what got me started in country. I bought my first cassette in mid 80’s in downtown New York. It had this song, Good ole Brew, Real Good Feel Good Song, Stand Up, Henrietta, and bunch of other ones. But unfortunately today, country is not what it used to be. Y’all stay safe.

He gave me a tour of their bus and then we sat in the back of it where he lived while on the road and we talked for a couple hours. Very cool man. Grew up with this song and Louisiana Saturday Night. Now I gotta listen to some Oak Ridge Boys followed up by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
