Hey Demi! I ate at Mel’s twice last week during my trip. I used mobile order both times. I’m glad I did, because the line to get in was very long both times. I loved the 50s drive-in theming of this restaurant. My food experience? I agree with you, it was just ok…not bad, but not great. I’ve had worse. I didn’t try a milkshake, so I’ll have to try one in the future. It always fun to see Elexa in your videos…she’s very cool and it’s nice that you have someone there to help you with all that food.😂

Probably best to avoid the milkshakes. They’re not like non- fat frozen yogurt even though the texture is remarkable!

@@KateS1980Well, I would like to have that milkshake analyzed in a lab to find out its fat content. My only worry is someone will knock it over and it’ll spill into someone’s blood sample. I wouldn’t want them to think they have extremely high cholesterol.

My dude! Thanks so much for taking my request… after all I can’t trust anyone’s reviews but yours :) I’d give the vegan dog a shot but not a huge fan of Impossible meat. The theming might make up for the food! Have you been to Finnegan’s? Interested in how it compares to Raglan Road (my fave DS spot!).

I ate there in 1992 during a middle school trip. The reburb looks nice. If I ate there again I would get the burger and avoid the chicken sandwich. When I was a tween my parents said Mel's was in the movie American Graffiti and my sister and I were like "we don't care about your old people movies." 😂

I like vegan and vegetarian food (I am not a vegan either) but that hot dog does not look good 😂 Way too many onions and vegan cheese is awful!! The onion rings look perfect for my kids, they get onion rings and pull the onion out and just eat the breading.
