I consider myself to be a pretty good man, but listening to this brings tears to my eyes! Mel was a great singer and a terrific song writer! All the great ones are just about gone! I was so fortunate to have be around for the 50s, 60s and 70s music era! Real country music is so great! I go to Nashville about 10 times a year( about a 6 hour drive) to listen to traditional country. It’s getting harder and harder to find, but it will never die! Check out Tom Buller at Layla’s on Broadway if ever in Nashville. Does George and Merle songs great!
