my mother knitted a sweater for my father last christmas. For this sweater weborrowed a magazine from the yarn shop and i went to his office to copy the pattern cause our printer at home was out of ink. my mother used to knit it on our couch and watching tv with him and chatting with the family and my father did't noticed it. it was truly surprised when she showed him.

It's definitely starting to get cold here now! It would be amazing to have matching ones for the animals as well, but they hate wearing anything so I think it's out of the question😅

Your sweaters all look incredible. Marling two colors together at the same time, you really can’t control the little differences. Maybe if the yarn was being held in exactly the same spot threading through a hole in something might be the only way but they are perfect as is. I wouldn’t be concerned about it at all. I also love matching sweaters. Beautiful work and a great color combination too. Hope you are feeling better as well.

Thank you! I haven't figured out a way to control the marling, but I have seen pictures of it. So I'm must be doable. But I'm not worried about it, it's much more noticeable on camera than in real life, and when it's being worn, it's not really noticeable at all🥰 I'm feeling much better now luckily❤️

Bra jobbat! Det blev riktigt fina bilder av er tre tillsammans i era matchande tröjor! Jag funderar om skillnaden mellan den övre delen av tröjorna och den nedre är att du stickar den övre fram och tillbaka och den nedre delen i runt? Fast jag tycker inte att det gör något! De blev ju jättefina 🤗

Tusen takk! Jeg tror nok forskjellen kommer av at man går fra å strikke frem og tilbake til å strikke rundt ja. Jeg syns heller ikke det gjør så mye, og i virkeligheten når de er i bruk synes det heller ikke. Men skulle allikevel gjerne ha knekt koden til å få det likt hele veien🙈

I heard a podcaster gives her husband a promise of a sweater. With his birthday in november you could do the same with your husband next year - buy him a more fancy yarn as birthday present and give him finished sweater as a Christmas gift. I start to wonder if I can pull it to but my husband's birthday is in june😂 Oh and she knit a little sweater ornament to give it with the yarn, made of it, to put on their christmas tree.

That's a really good idea! He's not the biggest sweater user, so I'm not sure he wants any more, but If he ever does that is a great way of doing it!

@@norwegianknitter for me it's also an imaginary scenario but a fun one. My husband was sweats or suits type of guy and started wearing sweaters on a regular just before his 40 so I get your situation. He still waits for his first sweater from me because I'm not sure if I know enough about yarn to make him something he would really injoy. But I'm pretty set on Max's the knitter singlemalt sweater.

@dorotaurbanska6654 It would be fun to get him even more involved in the process. I'm sure he'd end up with a tractor sweater of some sort, then😅😂 Good luck knitting a sweater for your husband! Maybe take him with you to choose yarn? Whatever yarn you can tolerate rubbing on your throat, you should be able to tolerate all over🥰
