From Canada, and really admire FLOTUS Melania's quiet strength. I was touched to witness her using her multiple languages to speak with children in hospital when visiting Rome. I think she is quite a benefit to the country, but greatly under-appreciated.

She spoke a few words of welcome and then reverted back to English as soon as she sat down with the children. She carried on the remainder of the conversation in English. She is not fluent but I believe can carry on very basic conversations in the multiple languages she speaks. She is no Jackie Kennedy who was fluent in other languages and demonstrated it time and time again.
