Let's see her from a different perspective. To remain (until this day) being a formal spouse of A Donald Trump , who can do anything with all his fortunes, I think that is quite of an achievement. This is how a wife should behave toward her husband. She owns that quality of a 'traditional woman' : always try to stay being beautiful, being supportive to her husband, being trustful to him and understand that man will always be a man of his own, she's never been trying to change nor control her husband. And yes these languages are extremely similar to one degree or another, and we can understand each other. Slovenian and Macedonians can understand Croatians better than we can understand them for example because of their accent and wordings. But all in all, to say I speak Croatian, Bosnian and Serbian only counts 3 languages and is in fact one that is my native language, let alone mentioning Slovenian or Bulgarian etc. Anyhow, I have no idea which languages she mentioned to speak, but I made a joke because her English accent is miserable.

Btw. my father is Slovenian, my mother is Croatian and I lived 10 years in Belgrade, so I am quite familiar with all those languages. And I very much remember how in JNA when Slovenians or Macedonians are speaking, Serbs or Croats did not understand anything or they thought they understand something but it was wrong because some words sound similar but mean different. And Slovenians and Macedonians did in the past understood Serbian or/and Croatian better not because of the accent or something but because in former Yugoslavia they had to learn it in the school much longer than Serbs or Croats had to learn Slovenian or Macedonian, they had to use schoolbooks in those languages a lot and boys were obliged to speak in Yugoslav army (JNA). Simple proof - when Croats or Serbs had to read Slovenian they also have problems fully understanding, so no "accent involved " and young generations of Slovenians and Croats who do not have relatives in each other country today mostly speak english with each other ( my daughters as example). And my close relative is linguist and according to their scientific standards, counting the words and structure similarities etc. Slovenian and Serbia as example are just as "similar" as Spanish and Italian, so example I gave was not made by coincidence. So overall, I understand you wanted to make a joke but sorry, bad joke, first it is simply not true, saying that you speak Slovenian and Macedonian is from the linguistics point of view same as saying you speak Spanish and Italian and nobody can joke like haha, they're the same. No, they're not. And, second, not that l am big fan of Melania (I am very neutral) but as far as I know in the list of languages she named I remember only Slovenian and Serbo-Croatian that match your list, so no Bosnian, Macedonian or bulgarian, but she named French and Italian.
