People thought she was “glorifying” this behavior. She’s just trying to raise awareness because this is real sh*t right here. People just got mad that melanie burst their bubble of the world is all rainbows and butterflies.

This song was also in the point of view of the victim. She’s been manipulated by her abuser that she actually thinks her abuser in in love with her

this song is literally the ‘Tag you’re It’ of the K-12 album - both very controversial to those who fail to understand but very important themes to talk about

This song is about a teacher and student relationship. People don’t really like this song due to the lyrics. But I really love this song.

Not just men tho! A year ago a teacher(female) got caught up with a student(male) at my school.

As I mentioned in the review ahaha she is using both genders here

The thing with crybabies is a lot of them are young so they won’t understand some of the deeper meanings among songs. Pop surrealism is her thing and she said if you don’t understand it you won’t get her messages. Cute aesthetic, dark meanings.

Teacher's pet in the movie it's amazing, deep and a little bit creepy. Love it so much. This song is one of my favs of k12 anyway💫 (Sorry for my english)

so actually the "i know i'm young but my mind..." line is something the teacher tells her. It's common in abusive relationships between a minor and an adult that the grown up will manipulate the minor saying things like "you are young but you are so mature for your age" been there myself when i was a teenager

She don't usually got hate for this or her other stuff, she never scared of making out serious topics and that's what she likes, to make us feel disgust or uncomfortable coz that the truth. "The truth is disturbing" :)

i feel like maybe after each song in the k-12 film, u can go to the genius page cus sometimes they also explain some of the scenes on there

True on what you said about the age. Im 30 years old and some of my friends think the same, but I still learn from 18 - 24 years old people at work. Age is just a number. Its true that you got alot of experience about a few subjects but never everything. Mostly young people give me new isights at work that I can use for the company benifits. It keep your company young and dynamic.

11:50 recess one of the most hard/deep lyrics and it literally sounds like a 5yo kid lullaby its the most "femenine" song in the album, i know music doesn't have gender sorry for the word i don't know other word that i can use lol lemme look if up.

I think I can already see the differences between the Cry Baby and the K-12. In Cry baby it's a much greater focus on the character and the situations she experiences. At K-12, in the songs themselves it already makes it clear that you are talking about the people around you. There is a very strong theory that the story of the album Cry Baby and K-12 happen at the same time.
@MusicWithMason3 жыл бұрын
Ooooo that theory tho

4:54 me bc im 14 years old dude i had to mature since i was 6-7 i know my shit. Beyond sexuality shit im talking ab spiritual shit too I'm just a "kid" and have no right to talk "i know nothing" and well ok bby what a shame that a lil kid knows way more than u.

The only way for you to understand it Is you have to watch the movie because there are multiple scenes that aren’t songs
@species473 жыл бұрын
She's also writing this of somebody's elses point of view so the teacher is male in the situation but though that doesn't mean that female teachers aren't predators
